I think if its cookie is still valid, and then posts, it will re-enter the room. It looks like here that the websocket survived / was still in re-try mode so it started listening again for input.

IIRC Kenny has a retry mechanism with built in backoff, so it will retry with ever longer intervals

there is only code on my end that leaves a room by calling postLeave but that only happens when I stop the bot in a controlled manner which I can only do when I have control, which I never have because the webpage where the stop button is on isn't working after I closed the webpage. ]

So in this case I think SE kicked Kenny out?
