@Hans1984 No! While you're shooting 3 bear cubs in the head the mama bear will surely behead you well before you can turn around to point the shotgun at the bear's face. Another issue is that you'd have committed a crime by "Hunting" bears. This is because you used a gun and killed 3 bears, and they posed no threat due to the fact that they were bear cubs. A mama bear is different since killing it could have been out of self-defense.

If the ear is bitten off, it will swallow it because bears aren't known to spit out a viable food source, especially if it is already all the way in their mouth. Point taken, bears won't eat your dead body, they eat more berries than meat, but are still considered omnivores as they do eat meat occasionally. If the bear is starving, it will have no choice but to consume the dead body.
