@ShadowWizard It's an XY problem. Their real issue, according to their post body, is that they want to suggest a correction to their answer, and the former question linked above addresses how to properly do that.

They're asking about a specific way of doing so (suggesting an edit that got rejected), when their real issue is the general way of how to make a clarification.
