@TheLittleNaruto seriously man. I asked them particularly if this is a new office. The guy said yes. Also, the office was pretty basic man. No reception apart from a security guard. Maybe because of holiday
@TheLittleNaruto yeah, they're like 100 times bigger than us
@TheLittleNaruto it went good. Guy asked me to write a program for finding duplicates in a string. I told him we can use hashmap. He told me, "ok, just write the program for it". I did, and he didn't even look at it and moved onto next question. :/
@TheLittleNaruto one more question, where I started explaining something, and he went back to his mobile. His wireless earphones were hanging on his neck when he came for interview. He asked me the app lifecycle. When I tried to start, he corrected himself to activity lifecycle
@TheLittleNaruto exactly. The parking is on opposite side of road. Its on the damn road man!
@ShadowWizard That word is already said in the latest 10 words. Please use another. (In case I'm mistaken, run >>rmword weirD and then >>reply 7353292)
@TheLittleNaruto I went to second floor according to security. Where one guy and a girl were sitting. I asked then if they came for interview. They said yes, and thought I came to take their interview. Guy stood up and started introducing himself. I was fucking dumbfounded. Then, while trying not to laugh, I told them that I am here for interview myself.
after that, I asked them where's people taking interview etc. No-one was there and they had no clue. So I called HR
she told me to go to 1st floor, which I proceeded to do, and when I looked back, they were following me. LMFAO
then it clicked me, they were just sitting there, waiting for someone to come and guide them into interview process. When they could have just called HR
Sounds like that company doesn't really want any new employees, those are "fake interviews", done only to satisfy some manager who asked for this. Think I saw once some article about it being a thing.
@ShadowWizard oh....I am ok with it though. Interview didn't last long, since interviewer was not interested in taking interview only. It actually took me more time to wear helmet and all while coming back, then the time for which interview lasted
@TheLittleNaruto yeah man. I was a bit excited after hearing the name. But, office was worse than my current one. It was looking like either they were moving in, or moving out. I hope its the later one
on MG Road, they have full building to themselves. Something like 6 floors. I've been there twice or thrice. They got pantry on every floor. Party space on rooftop, with dedicated elevated DJ space, gym, swimming pool, play areas, dormitories, meeting rooms, quiet rooms, big screens in common area where they broadcast all the major sport events too, with beers etc. I've seen people with pets inside that building
Its just out of world man!
did you check the price of those speakers @TheLittleNaruto
@ShadowWizard NSFWTrigger warning: Really, really bad skin disease, often resulting in stillbirth If you wanna know about the abomination my roommate showed me, google for harlequin ichthyosis
@ShadowWizard No, but she learned about it in some way or another. It shook her up pretty bad, and of course morbidly curious me wanted to see if it really was that bad :P
Well, it looks bad... probably can cause nightmares to people who see it. But.. still, just a disease. Amazing people with this can survive and live. :)
@ShadowWizard Only a few make it though. And I think I've afterwards watched a documentary on it somewhere, and the person that did live is spending a lot of time on skin care and has almost no life.
@EKons That's how I stumbled upon 2 women 1 ___ in the past, years ago... I'm pretty sure you know what I mean... anyway, when someone says "DON'T GOOGLE THIS" they usually mean it.... :D
just so you know, @Sha has much, much more of this "reputation" than you ;-) that number is just irrelevant here, the correct number for this place has a unit: liters (L)
the only thing you have to be careful about is... where you do whatever you do :P
welcome to @Shadow's Den, where, as the entrance says, "enter at your own risk!"
