that thing gets over-the-air updates like our mobiles and PCs. Think about it, have you ever imagined a "car" getting updated via software?

@DroidDev well, electric cars in Israel were a total failure. They sold less than 1000 vehicles and lost tons of money.

It's just too expensive, and people don't want to stop and recharge every 100 km or so.

@ShadowWizard tru dat. I only used electric as one of features. But since Tesla has made their electric cars fast and long running, its cool. The other features in car are just too much of technology.

@ShadowWizard yea, in India, we also have electric cars, but its not much success. One main thing is long time it takes to charge up. Tesla has successfully reduced it to 20 minutes for charging upto 50%

they are making it more and more feasible

@ShadowWizard I wanted to ask, how much does defending itself costs Israel? As I can imagine, you guys have to use a hell lot of iron domes, since there's always lots of rockets coming your way, the cost must be pretty high. Right?

@DroidDev yeah, tons of money... each iron dome missile costs $50,000 and it takes two to take one rocket down. We do get lots of money from USA (think $1B per year) so guess lots of it goes to these things.

there are much more expenses other than iron dome though, biggest is just to maintain the army, buy weapons, build weapons, etc...

also, $50k is a very cheap missile. I usually see the ones costing millions

@DroidDev oh, the second missile is just for backup, the success rate is 90% probably because there are two.

@DroidDev that's for offensive missiles, the iron dome is just to intercept things, it can't cause real damage on its own.

Gotta read more about it, since now I wanna know, what keeps your economy going, when you got such big expenses always standing at your borders

The demonetization move was due since 1984, but nobody wanted to do it, because it would harm the voter bank

same goes for many other things, but this guy didn't care for corrupt vote bank, and went for long term reforms

@ShadowWizard cutting budgets, might in short term, reduce the spending and increase money holding. But, spending is needed for making more money. So, mainly, money has to be spent to make profit. Hence, budget cutting is only in dire circumstances. Taxes are usual source of money for a nation.
