@DamienPaul cool! When trying custom adapters, after initial things (like showing string), start with showing checkboxes. There should be a list at-least 3 times large than your screen height (it should scroll well). And see if you face any issues with checkboxes (you have to retain the checkbox that was checked and when you scroll back, it should be the way you left it

if you haven't done this already, this will be your lifetime lesson and will be handy everytime you develop something that scrolls, not only in android, but in ios or any other platform too
