Ah, right, I see. I think I don't need one from a SE employee anyway. I'm currently in China and I noticed some issues on the website if not using a VPN, mostly related to jQuery (Google is blocked here). It's nothing terrible, but it's annoying. I found this question asking for a fallback for jQuery, back from 2012 meta.stackexchange.com/questions/133786/…

, which never got implemented. It got dismissed with "why should we do it?". Well, I got a reason, and so does the second answer. What should I do with this? Make a new question? Answer the question? Or something else?

@J.Constantine valid concern, I fear there's very little we can do. I don't see any recent official response there (waffles was SE employee back then, not anymore) so maybe worth asking Shog directly in the Tavern, i.e. looks like it's a case where you actually do need SE employee. Just don't bother him too much, single message with a ping, and be patient that's the key. :)

Shog got stats how many users arrive from China, so he can know better how big is the problem, after all forcing them all to use VPN is more than minor annoyance.
