yesterday i was at office till 10 just because web service issue and web guy wasn't able to resolve that at last i resolve that and in morning it was not working again.
@DroidDev Having faith is the hardest part for me. But I do see God working on me and those around me all the time, which makes it very difficult to deny.
@DroidDev I'm not going to lie: I've questioned my faith time after time. God has always pulled me back and made it clear that He is in control. (Although not always on my terms...)
@Mooseman Didn't happen with me or maybe your statement is correct (not on my terms....) or maybe, I have seen too much religion or maybe brought up to question everything
@DroidDev Being on God's terms -- His methods and/or timing -- is something a control freak such as myself struggles to submit to. When I was young I only saw the religion side, when really God wants a relationship with us through His Son.
@Mooseman Actually, what I think is, that to understand god or religion, is not so simple that it could be done by just reading something. Once, I heard, that, to believe in god, simply means, believing in something blindly, because there's no proof that it exist.
@DroidDev Saying that there is no proof of God's existence is not entirely true. Although we do have to have faith in Him, we have the Bible and we can see His works, e.g., Creation. Believers such as myself can also attest to the relationship with Him.
@Mooseman I would really really like to know how you can attest, because, if it somehow clears my doubts, I'd also be on same way.(Now, thinking of what I just wrote, please note, although, I don't believe in god, I still wanna find some reason to believe in him)
@DroidDev When He places thoughts on my heart and words in my mouth I have no doubt at all that He exists and is who He says he is. Even just here, some of what I've said earlier was clearly the Holy Spirit speaking through me. He never ceases to amaze me when so many thoughtful words come out with no thought of my own; essentially the opposite of writing code. I could go on to the "we're all sinners who need to be saved, Jesus is our Savior" speech, but I think you know most of that already. ;)
@Mooseman well...according to me, that actually is your belief(sorry, if I sound rude here, but english is not my native language...so....) and as I said earlier, you have actually accomplished to believe without any question...something I can't do. Even after reading your message here, lots of question come to my mind. But, that'll only prolong the never ending discussion :)

@DroidDev Not rude at all. I would say that I believe "without doubt", because there are times that I do question my faith. But God has overcome that by the Holy Spirit working in me. If you have any questions at all, please don't hesitate to ping me. :)

@Mooseman actually, I don't think we need another room and about questions, I kind of need concrete reasons. Like a friend of mine explained to me some days ago, why we shouldn't eat meat(Its banned in Hinduism and some other religions). It wasn't a matter of religion, but only a matter of logic, but still not convincing enough, but he had a good reason.
Something like that, which sound bit logical and only then can I believe...
@DroidDev I can understand that because I was the same in that I wanted something one could prove on paper like a math problem. Christianity boils down to three points as I see it: 1) We sin (a fact), and Jesus saves us from that (another fact); 2) He saves us because He loves us (fact), and wants a relationship with us (fact); and 3) He wants us to show love to others because He first loved us.
@Mooseman What is your point of view on the fact that religion (in all its forms) causes a lot of war and fighting? Don't you think the world would be better off without religion in that case?
if a man had an accident while driving a car we never blame that car company we always blame car driver but when it comes to religion people blame religion instead of that person.
@DarkAshelin Being without religion still requires that you put your trust in something else, whether yourself, a political leader, or even an idea such as science in general. We only become our own gods, creating our own "religion" of ideals to live by. This moral relativism creates more fighting in society, because without concrete right and wrong, we all begin to argue about it.
@DarkAshelin have you thought, how without religion, no-one would care about good or bad. I mean, at some places in world people who are not educated, believe in religion blindly(because they can be manipulated easily). Some of them fight for it, while some only restrain themselves from doing bad things.
Now, consider the fact, that there's no religion. Nobody will care about what they do

some good guy did it, some others spoiled the thing for their benefit
yeah I was just pondering: would a world without religion be better? would there really be less fighting/wars? Then I thought: No, it would probably be worse. Most people are taught morals through religion. Without religion, people would have less morals, since there also isn't any "moral risk" (god is watching you!)
so anyway, the conclusion to my question would be: - No, there won't be less wars without religion. - There would be less wars if everyone understood religion correctly
@DarkAshelin haha, trust me, I can tell you so many good things about Hinduism right now, you'd go home and start reading a gospel. They won't even be any religious things either :P
But Jesus didn't come for the sake of religion. He died for us to save us from our sin, and He actively pursues us because He loves us and wants a relationship with us. All we have to do is accept it and put our faith in Him.
