@SilentKiller I haven't user action bar actually and now I am thinking I'll have to use it.

I had used SherlockActionBar so i can use my app 2.2 to latest version

I was not using it, because I thought it might conflict with application's UI later. Can you tell me that if, I can use ActionBar as top Title bar in android layouts

@SilentKiller we are supporting from 4.0 onwards :D

@DroidDev as its 4.0 then title bar will be ActionBar only. :P

it will show ActionBar not TitleBar

@SilentKiller usually, I use these things custom made only. This is the first time I am trying with android defaults. Therefore I don't know about it

In earlier app, I made drawer layout all by myself, adding custom navigations to each of them

this time I decided to go with drawer layout

Its much easy with default drawer layout

@SilentKiller but, by default it is for right side only. That's why I had to make custom animations when I had to display flyouts from left side of screen

@SilentKiller ok, I put that and now there is a clickable button on top left edge of screen. But, it is only getting click events and not opening drawer. Guess it is time for some research. :)

@SilentKiller oh! thanks for your efforts. You'll laugh now, but, at this point of time, I have two ic_launcher images in my action bar and I don't know how even one of them appeared there :/
