I'm a mod on two of our other sites and I can confirm that I can pull up a list of every time you were banned or warned by moderators. I can see the exact text of the message you were sent along with the ban length you were given (if any). I can only bring this up on sites where I'm a mod. — Robert Columbia 39 secs ago

We don't really have a PM system and we're strongly discouraged from sending emails. I guess a private chatroom might work but that's visible to every other moderator. Personally I'd rather have an easy way for users to view their own moderator messages easily without getting a mod to find a workaround — Journeyman Geek 13 secs ago
@phil1008 yes, I could share it in a private chatroom upon request. I don't see any reason I wouldn't be willing to do that unless it was obvious that the request was in bad faith and the user just wanted a trophy. — Robert Columbia 43 secs ago

Did you try putting
stack exchange ask about chinese
into a search engine? For me, that gives the correct Stack Exchange site as the first result. It also happens to be named exactly what one might expect, and can also easily be found by ctrl-F on the list of Stack Exchange sites. I don't understand why this needed to be asked here. — Karl Knechtel 24 secs ago

""I have only the choice of computer graphics stack exchange itself." it's meta computer graphics, not the main site. "Why not offer a search bar and then all stack exchange sites that exist?" because migration is supposed to be rare. You certainly shouldn't be expected to fling just any question anywhere on the network. You have to be absolutely sure that 1. it's on-topic for the target 2. it's high quality. We're not supposed to be passing hot potatoes to be closed elsewhere. Which is a reason some sites have opted out of migrations as it happened too often. — VLAZ 48 secs ago
"How would anyone know which sites a potential user might ever actually need?" if you don't know where it should go then why should you make that decision? — VLAZ 41 secs ago
Sorry, I meant that How would anyone know question from the point of view of an admin, predefining stack exchange targets, not from the person moderating a question. A question can belong to any site (at least in a tech context, to any tech site). And giving a user the option to choose any does not relate to the amount of migrations. Nor does it really need to be a migration, but can be a hint to the person asking the question. — Tare 12 secs ago
A hint for the asker is definitely not the same as suggesting a migration. Enough close votes for the "belongs on another site" moves the question to the target site. This isn't a "Dear question asker, consider moving it", it's "Dear <target site>, here is a question for you". — VLAZ 54 secs ago
To judge if a good-looking question is a suitable migration candidate you really need to be familiar with the target site. Eg, have close vote privileges there. — PM 2Ring 17 secs ago
In that case though, the closing process is not clear enough about the consequences of a choice. When closing due to a different reason, it asks to give a reason. This reason will then automatically be posted as a comment to the question. I would have assumed more or less the same then from other closing options: It will be a hint to the user. Nowhere in the close -> belongs to other side process does it suggest the question may actually be migrated (at least on computer graphics SE). — Tare 7 secs ago
@VLAZ the answer helps, yes, thank you. I still think the process could be a bit clearer about what will happen (and perhaps your warning about being absolutely sure that the other site is correct...), though I don't know if the texts/UI is excatly the same on every sub page. — Tare 35 secs ago
For the first time in 2+ years, I've just had one of my answers "tidied up" ("EDIT:" erased). While this has been a painless introduction to this expectation regarding Q's and A's, I'm tickled by the contradiction of the dream of "libraries of high-quality questions and answers" and an abundance of linked Q&A posts that are all much of a muchness on this issue. Ideals of the noble pursuit of "Single instance of singular question and its singular answer", yet all this "Linked (sidebar" clutter of same-or-almost-the-same hanging around. It seems that "something" is not going to plan. — Fe2O3 just now

Hi Gibson gondwe, welcome to the Stack Exchange Network Meta site! I'm not sure which search brought you here but the problem you describe will not be answered on this specific site. To get an expert's answer for the topic of your question you'll have to find and then re-post on the proper site. Check How do I ask a good question and What is on topic on the target site to make sure your post is in good shape. Your question is definitely off-topic on Meta and is better deleted here. — zcoop98 24 secs ago

Please don't just dump your code on us and say "Here, fix it". That's not how this site works. — F1Krazy 10 secs ago
Imagine your image uploader is like a library bookshelf where people can put books (or images) they want to share. If you've set it up to remember who puts which book on the shelf, then yes, it knows who added which book (or image). It's like having a name tag on each book to show who brought it in. — Jonathan Reese 25 secs ago

This basically summarises to "it will do it if Stack Exchange programmed it to do it", which is not helpful. What we want to know is whether Stack Exchange actually did program it to do that or not. — F1Krazy 31 secs ago

If you wanted to ask on Database Administrators or Stack Overflow, use those sites. (If you get a message that says you are not allowed to post there, please read the link that would be given to you - here it is again, for reference). You may not bring a question about database queries here in order to work around a question ban, because you are being ignored on the proper site, or for any other reason. This place is for asking about Stack Exchange itself. — Karl Knechtel 48 secs ago

Images would be (generally) embedded in a post/comment so it would be a minor amount of effort to find where an image is being referenced on-site. — Robotnik 48 secs ago
