You seem to want a collection of Latex templates for various purposes rather than a collection of Q&A about Latex. Stack Exchange (Specifically TeX - LaTeX) is about the latter rather than the former. You can try to treat it as the former but you probably won't get great results. Why don't you try using sites that do provide the former like Overleaf? — Abdul Aziz Barkat 14 secs ago

For me chatgpt is like throwing dice, some of it will be good, some of it will be bad, it is random, if I curate the good answers, I think that is still valuable, because even though it was made from randomness, it is something that is worth saving, so I wouldnt be against chatgpt, I would be against bad answers. Anyway next iterations of LLM will be indistuinguishable from real humans, chatgpt has a style, but future LLMs will have different styles as varied as people. Nothing you can detect or prohibit, you can only disallow bad answers. It does not matter how they were generated. — Rainb 55 secs ago

[ Boson light ] New comment posted by PM 2Ring
@cubick Yes, but it's complicated because CSS pixels don't necessarily correspond to actual screen pixels. See stackoverflow.com/a/16050018/4014959 So a high-res mobile browser window can "appear" to have a relatively small width in pixels to the CSS & JavaScript on a website. Note that the 2nd Search icon disappears when the phone is in landscape orientation. That's probably because the landscape width is larger, but the page may also detect orientation through a media query. — PM 2Ring 38 secs ago

I care about edits to my posts. I don't edit-war; most of the time I'd just like to see what happened. In the unlikely event that someone misunderstands what I said badly enough to edit my code into broken and/or dangerous (with my name still on it) I will of course want to do something about that. Currently I use my WebCheck program to check all my answers, but I'm running into problems with StackExchange servers telling me I'm sending them too many requests. It would be nice to have some reassurance that I will be notified, so my script doesn't have to routinely fetch 130+ pages for this — Silas S. Brown 47 secs ago

It seems an odd symptom that I couldn't reproduce on really, really, really crappy hotel wi-fi today. If you're right and you're on a connection so slow that things like CSS or a whole series of fallback fonts can't render, not sure what any site can do to protect you from that. The font list for --ff-mono is pretty simple: ui-monospace,"Cascadia Mono","Segoe UI Mono","Liberation Mono",Menlo,Monaco,Consolas, monospace;Aaron Bertrand 10 secs ago

I'm rather sad that this particular line has been misinterpreted so severely - I suppose I have only myself to blame for that. In no way is this project focused on protecting people's feelings, which seems to be the impression many readers mistakenly came away with. The salient point of that line is that regardless of competence, someone may lose: the election process does not adequately discriminate whether someone is competent, only whether they are in the top N competent applicants. This neither guarantees the winners are fit to serve, nor guarantees the losers are unfit to serve. — Slate ♦ 47 secs ago

While it is of course the case that no election system ever perfectly elects people who are fit to serve, the point of the remark is that this system is set up such that we know for a fact it will not do so a significant proportion of the time. — Slate ♦ 53 secs ago

All the filter buttons in within the profile pages (including the substabs of activity) use the same size for consistency — s-btn__xs is and has been applied to those buttons for a while (possibly since the last time we made a change to the profile page design). I can't get a wayback link since it's harder to get a specific tab that's been captured but you can still see the old buttons on those subtabs within an instance of Teams.
