@Martin I got a comment from our Editor in Chief: meta.stackexchange.com/questions/348060/… and I might have assumed a meaning of what I found in your query that turns out to be incorrect. I did intent to write the country name in your native language. Can you educate me a bit and apologies upfront for my ignorance.

Why 'slovak' in the first table? Shouldn't it be 'slovakia'? And alternative spellings 'slovak' and 'slovak republic'? — P.Mort. - forgot Clay Shirky_q 29 mins ago
@P.Mort.-forgotClayShirky_q I took what Martin gave me in the SEDE room but didn't check with him if I used it correctly. I'll check with him. — rene 21 mins ago
@P.Mort.-forgotClayShirky_q I have used slovak as the string which is likely to catch both Slovakia and Slovak Republic. (And, I hoped, unlikely to catch stuff which is unrelated to Slovakia.) This query - and also some other related queries - were mentioned in SEDE a few times: chat.meta.stackexchange.com/transcript/1223/2020/5/11 chat.meta.stackexchange.com/transcript/1223/2020/5/20 chat.meta.stackexchange.com/transcript/1223/2020/6/12Martin 53 secs ago
@rene If I write the country in English, I will probably write Slovakia or Slovak Republic. If I write in Slovak language, then it is Slovensko.
I have included the string slovensk since I wanted to catch both "Slovensko" and various municipalities with this string in the title, such as, Slovenská Ľupča.
Although looking at this, this might bring also some false positives, such as: Slovenska Bistrica (in Slovenia).

Okay, that clarifies the country naming bit. I'll change that in my answer as I got that clearly wrong.
To honor you I'll use Slovensko

Shouldn't it be select 2, 'Slovensko' union? (I.e., the union before the line for Germany might be missing.)
I wondered what was the reason for the recent comment.
updated answer's code in SEDE doesnt work, gives error: Incorrect syntax near the keyword 'select'. Incorrect syntax near ')'. Incorrect syntax near ','. Incorrect syntax near ','. neither sorted by reputation if i add "union" aside 'slovak' in countries table — p t 5 mins ago
Also, I see that the example in the post contains Germany, while the linked query doesn't. I am not sure whether this is intentional.

yeah, I was in a hurry when those comments came in
I'll fix those now

It took me some time before realizing what you meant by "Editor in Chief": meta.stackexchange.com/users?tab=Editors&filter=all

Nice!

The answer (and the more recent comment) contain a different link: data.stackexchange.com/stackoverflow/query/1250968/…
The query also contains the github link: github.com/pavletabata/stackexchange-query-for-all-countries

Thanks both of you. I was able to fix all needed things and completed the query. @Martin, yes, that's the final version we made.
@rene, my version also fixed the "sorting" by repuration or name. Can you please take a look to confirm that the last "ORDER BY" is correct thing there? can it cause some parts of code to be safely removed?

8:07 PM
@pt that order by sorts on the countryname, yes.
