12:40 AM
It feels like a Sunday

Well, good news on that front

...wait for it...

I'd post the Friday video, but I'd like to avoid getting spam flagged to death

lol

Just expanded my bookshelf by like 10 books

12:57 AM
I managed to make my "home office" feel even smaller today.

The bubble sort dance

Heh. I see that's making the rounds.

already saw it
Afterwards I decided to shuffle a deck of cards and then sort them using the bubble sort method, just for kicks

:)
There are more algs
(dances)

1:45 AM
I am charging my iPod for once this week
Maybe I'll actually play Nippon @Moshe
I try to make all of my answers correct, in and of themselves. Whether or not they apply to the question is a whole other metric entirely.

8 hours later…
9:25 AM
@GeorgeMarian:Hi

5 hours later…
1:56 PM
cries
What have they done to you GNOME?

Happy Saturday All

2:27 PM
@TylerChacha: and @LoïcWolff: Hi

Good Morning

is SQLLite a relational DB like MySQL or is it only a single table in the full DB of key value pairs?

Im watching some more Pluralsight tutorials and deciding whether to get out of bed...
I believe it is relational

@TylerChacha Are you Sure

Looking on there I'm seeing regular SQL code, making me believe that it is similar to MySQL, relational

2:32 PM
@TylerChacha actually i had created SQlite DB file via JAVA

@TylerChacha - hello, hows your API coming on?

Finished that a long time ago :)
'Load New Repository' -> mso//msoisawesome -> StackOverflow Questions

@TylerChacha - yea, im current.
lol

I'm still working on a way to directly import/export JSON repositories into 102 Storage... but before that I really should get my apps to use it
Like Triton

2:54 PM
Have I told you just how much I love Access-Control-Allow-Origin?

nope
Whats the browser support like ATM?

On what?
Everything works in Chrome

Allowing other origins

Oh..
I dunno..

lol, unfortunately I can't dictate my userbase use Chrome ;)

2:55 PM
I just got this annoying error from Chrome
I make a call to get a list of repositories, and it works
but then I make a call to get a repository, same method, doesn't work

Mind you, Chrome's code was described by a senior Fedora developer:
"If this source code were meat, it would be grade C"

like .. WTF?

And I had to report a bug just the otherday with a segfault in a basic POST

Changing the world sometimes requires you to get down and dirty with your code.

I mean ... testing

2:57 PM
I need more interesting people to follow on Github
People that actually improve my day

@AidenBell: and @TylerChacha: I have a Question to you guys

we might have an answer...

@SankarGanesh - @TylerChacha will have an answer

@AidenBell lol

3:00 PM
Oh... I just expanded my library by a ton of books

Fire away then

How many have you read though lol

Well, that is a list of books I have already read

@AidenBell: and @TylerChacha: I was not sure where to askand whom to ask

3:01 PM
I do not do Java or Android

@SankarGanesh - lol

@AidenBell :)
@TylerChacha It's Ok, Mate

@SankarGanesh - Get involved with an open source project
Free Software Repositories The Android Market doesn't allow users to easily filter applications based on their license status. As a result a number of projects maintain ad-hoc lists of FLOSS software around the web. In recent times a couple of application repository projects have been started that focus on providing alternatives to the default Android Market. So far coverage of all the available Open Source applications is still sporadic. {| class="wikitable" |- ! Application name !! Description !! Website !! Apk !! Market !! Sources !! License !! API !! Note |- | FDroid|| FOSS marke...

@SankarGanesh It is actually better than ok. Not being involved in Android is so nice! I'm able to ignore all the hype

@AidenBell :)

3:04 PM
@TylerChacha "off my lawn"
Also, where is everyone?
@GeorgeMarian - you alive?

3:18 PM
@TylerChacha: and @AidenBell: Bye TC

Bye

1 hour later…
4:32 PM
Wow, where is everyone?
Hungover after the Emancipation Day celebrations?

4:54 PM
@GeorgeMarian Hi , Very happy to see response after a long time from you

are you busy, what are you doing

Technically speaking, that wasn't a response just a message.

lol
I'm just pointing out that you used the wrong word. It wasn't a response to anything in particular, rather it was just a statement. See what I mean?

4:57 PM
@GeorgeMarian yes, you are right

@SankarGanesh So yah, I'm a little busy. Catching up on emails, drinking my coffee and about to make space in my living room for a couch.
I'm guessing you have a question. ;)

@GeorgeMarian oh Not a Techincal questions some personal

Then I suggest you ask it on SO. :P

got it

5:44 PM

Q: how can I write code on this forum ?

I tried write code:
...
... $...$ but everywthing doesn't work ! You have written somewhing here http://stackoverflow.com/editing-help but where are examples ? Examples should have some code and tags to everybody can see how use it.

@TylerChacha chec this out too ted.com/talks/dan_pink_on_motivation.html
I'm sure this is kind of a record: meta.stackoverflow.com/questions/87657/…

8:31 PM
is in the land of @RebeccaChernoff

@Trufa You realize it is the same talk?

@TylerChacha ohh sorry then, saw the long ago, I knew they were about the same topic, but I did not remember they were the same, isn't the Youtube video a short "animated" version of the Ted talk?

Nah, just slightly different. (It is virtually impossible to give the same talk twice the exact same)
I love Google Chrome

9:12 PM
@TimStone I'm scared. I'm tempted to flee back to Vegas.

@RebeccaChernoff You're safe, I'm in the alternate land of...you.
is in Finland
Where "oy" is "company", so there's a lot of oys :P

I had not considered Finland to be a land of me.

Now you know.

riiiiiiight

I'm sure there are the same amount of "oy"s in the phone book here as there are in your chat history, the similarity is too good to pass up, or something.
In other news, I did a bit of parkour today, which ended badly for my back.

2 hours later…
10:54 PM
@TimStone d'oh
Apparently, you were doing it wrong:
> Also, efficiency involves avoiding injuries, both short and long term
;)

Yeah, I tried to propel myself between two uneven bars, that was a no-go :P

Years of sitting in a chair has apparently taken away the flexibility necessary to bend in such a way that I could clear the lower bar, hahah.

Yeah, I'm certainly not in the best shape of my life.

Aye, me either. Although everything else went smoothly, so I imagine not all hope is lost.

11:12 PM
Assuming you don't continue to sit on your ass and not exercise the rest of your life. :)

This is true...I should probably work on that. Now it's time for sleep, however...given that it's 2:15 or something.

heh g'night
