@DroidDev yup, project I worked on for two years, until something like year ago... our dev SQL Server crashed yesterday, decided to just install new instance locally. ;)

Taking the latest backup and restoring it locally was the last step. :D

It is a maria db in a master/master cluster with 100 + databases in it

@ShadowWizard oh....that's a benefit of server side. Code can be copied locally from server. In case of mobile apps and desktop applications, code copies are needed to be maintained separately, since the end product doesn't have source code

@DroidDev oh no, lol.... thought you meant source code. but actually in our recent project (not the flowers) we have lots of separate CSS/JS files on dev, then utility that merge them all into single minified file which we put on production. But HTML is not changed between dev and prod.

@ShadowWizard oh yeah. So, you always can get "View" component of your code from live server, but you guys need to maintain copies of model and controller components. Right?
