@balpha hey, just FYI some of the unicornify pictures giving "Over Quota" error, e.g. unicornify.appspot.com/avatar/3?s=48 can you fix it somehow?
:(
@JamesENL tpu

@ShadowWizard No, unicornify's traffic these days is above the limit for the free google app engine quota, and app engine doesn't allow european non-businesses to pay. Thus at the end of a (pacific time) day you always get these errors

@balpha oh my... what's the quota?

6:49 AM
@ShadowWizard what?

Oh @James is not a bot? :D

@ShadowWizard the one that's too much is instance hours (in other words, CPU time)
you get 28 hours free per day

@balpha also, many people around here (e.g. @Undo) got their own dedicated servers/hosting, e.g. used for Smokey - maybe one will agree to host Unicornify as well?
@balpha wow, that's a lot of CPU time - why not cache all the images?

who says I'm not? :)

@balpha so more than 28 CPU hours to process only new requests? That's crazy!

that's not to say that it can't be optimized
but that's a decent amount of work too
I suppose I could switch to bitbucket.org/balpha/go-unicornify instead of using the python version for some nice gain
but even that isn't without work

But that won't happen over the weekend...

@rene Thanks! But, sadly, it takes 5 of us mere mortals to close a question. :(

Maybe I can get a discount for my track-record on Stack Overflow?

It's a bargain

@AwesomePoodles Oh, I've actually already looked at that some time ago and decided the questions were strongly related but not strictly duplicate, despite having the same answer. I marked your flag as helpful though, as it's pretty borderline. I guess you can try and persuade me that I was wrong, though :P

@TimStone The accepted answer basically says, see the duplicate answer! That alone should be all the proof you need.
And it copies the key point from the other answer.

5:33 PM
We're talking about closing the question though, not the answer. That the answers were the same is coincidental to the OP; one question was "How do I do this?" and the other was "What is this for?" They obviously sort of answered themselves with the second question, but they (apparently) didn't know that, so, eh. shrugs

I don't agree but it's not worth arguing about. There's a few other close votes for you to blanket approve review anyway. :)

Ugggh apparently I have skipped something at some point

NVM, it looks like you just got the other recent ones. That should just leave a few suggested edits and we're good!

FWIW, most of the tag wikis on MSO I copied via script when we split the sites; otherwise there'd have been a lot of missing tags.

Plagiarism!

Yeah, it makes sense for that scenario

After Magento, it's Ask Patents (3.48), Mechanics (3.34), Blender (3.14), AVP (3.02), the rest are below 2.5

Out of the larger sites, Computer Science, Unix & Linux, English Language Learners, and Chemistry are also above 2.

At the very bottom is Personal Productivity, where the top two users are almost equally productive. At the time of SEDE update Rory Alsop had 7302 rep and Jeanne Boyarsky had 7301. (The difference has increased then; the records of this kind are not stable.)
