There are URLs like cdn-prom.sstatic.net/WinterBash/js/hat-55.js?v=2 but I don't understand them. They give 404's on direct access at least.
@hichris123 Yeah sure hold on I'm investigating hats crashing my browser.

i used the fancy css file :P

@Doorhandle Ah there you go, nice.

yeah actually copy/pasted from the css file into variable cause was lazy xP

I broke chrome so... yeah. I scanned all the IDs 1-10000. Same image set. Way less organized.

im going to make it actually read from the css url so its not so messy @JasonC

Q: ASP.NET MVC bugs

Greg OgleWhat bugs have you experience while using ASP.NET MVC? As a first, The Html.DropDownList does not respect Selected property of SelectListItem when explicitly bound to List of SelectListItem.

@Doorhandle go to cdn-prom.sstatic.net and enter this into console:
function reqListener () {
	a = this.responseText.split("'");
	for (var i = 0, length = a.length; i < length / 1; i++) {
		if (i % 2 == 0) continue;
		document.body.innerHTML += "<img src=\"" + a[i] + "\"></img>";
  }
};

var oReq = new XMLHttpRequest();
oReq.addEventListener("load", reqListener);
oReq.open("GET", 'https://cdn-prom.sstatic.net/WinterBash/non-secret-hats.css?v=d4809556d544');
oReq.send();

Aw, no secret-hats.css.

Cool. One year ago healthcare.gov made me answer the security question "What is the phone number of a relative that is not your own?" I have no idea what I would have put for that. Call center hold time: 65 minutes.

3:48 AM
you probably put (123) 456-7891

Did I?

heh, that's why I don't put things that aren't easily remembered

Or did I do it without parentheses?
Or with no dash?
Did I leave off the area code?

name of first pet, middle name of mother, etc. are normal choices for me

> a relative that is not your own
wat

3:50 AM
@Quill Yeah I don't even know. I might have put my friend's mom's number.
The questions were favorite childhood friend, favorite pet, and the number of apparently somebody else's relative.

Q: Making example.com/php/myfile.php forbidden?

user1505713I make an AJAX request for file "myfile.php" and take the output from that file and use it in a javascript. How can I prevent visitors from looking at what's spat out from myfile.php when "example.com/php/myfile.php" is typed in the address bar but allow users to request it from the server?

some of these questions...

I am. But it takes forever. Because it doesn't tell you you were wrong until AFTER you type a new password. Then you have to start over. Forgot Password -> Type Email -> Answer Questions -> Enter New Password -> Fail.

it doesn't have other options?

3:51 AM
Yes, it has one. Call the call center.

2) Accept defeat and cry on your pillow.

Thanks for not like, asking me for my SS# and crap and being automated.
@Braiam Unless you meant the "fail" part, in which case, no, no other options. Failure is the only option.
That should be their motto.

well, they make you wait because you will talk with a real human... or so you hope MUHAHAHAHAHA

FSV of "human".
Heart optional.

Nowadays, I'll always choose a question for Forgot Password and answer it with a non-factual answer.

3:55 AM
No callbacks from the call center either. Disconnected during hold? Have fun. Even Delta's got them beat on that one.
My cell signal has to last unbroken for 55 more minutes.

@AndrewT. I put some comical answers on mine, which while technically answer the questions they are non-sensical

So many system administrators know that my first pet's name was Woody.
Their password requirements are weird too so I wouldn't have used one of my typical passwords.

Or just backwards?

Or a transparent hat, on a black background.
@balpha I'm talking about hat reversal, not hat removal.

The former results in an inverted hat, that latter results in no hat.
