This is... very weird. I'm currently experiencing a half second lag when switching to any php.net tabs. This doesn't happen even for js heavy sites like chat, or image heavy sites. What's so special about php.net?

Bill the Lizard keeps tripping me up on /review too, I go to flag something, and then find out he's already left a comment telling them to make something a new question..and then I don't know what to do.

@TimStone Yeah, I commented on that a few days ago. Basically that means it's already been addressed. The mods are instructed to leave comments instead of deleting and private-messaging users.

I believe flag weight is really awesome feature of user profile. Also I wanted to ask if there is a way to see the history of flag weight value (just like reputation)? I believe this would be really important in knowing which flaggings reduced the weight and which ones didn't.

Q: How can I get data off of the one corrupt partition of my HDD?

One partition of my HDD has become unreadable, and I'm being told my file system is RAW. The partition contains valuable data. How can I get it working again, so I can get at the data safely? The HDD has two other partitions, which are working fine, and is using NTFS. The OS is Windows XP 32-bit.

On meta, what determines when a question/bug is reported, like who will review feature-requests on meta etc

There's no guarantee. We mods have a policy of letting some flags sit for weeks or more, for visibility. I've got one on dba that I set almost a month ago (whenever I became pro-tem) that hasn't been cleared yet.

Yes, you can write to a filesystem like you would a block device, to some extent (if we equate partition to mean filesystem) but you can't read/write a block device like you would a filesystem.

My sister-n-law calls me and says "don't I have Windows on my computer" so I'm already thinking ... wtf ... A: Should we cap reputation gained from questions at +2000?

My first thought, which I do not yet have data to support, is that a better solution might be to cap reputation earned from awarding the accepted answer checkmark. Right now, you can get +2 for each question you ask by doing that, regardless of whether your questions are good or not. In theory, ...
