This is a type of ambiguous headline known as a crash blossom. From the Wikipedia link:
Newspaper headlines are written in a telegraphic style (headlinese) which often omits the copula and therefore lends itself to syntactic ambiguity, usually of the garden path type. The name 'crash blossoms...
@tombull89 There's a lot of them; on SU and a few others there's a single 'spam' user which the mods merge all of the spammers account into to ease tracking of data

No underline on SE sites. Try <u>test</u> in a question, it won't be underlined. You can achieve a similiar effect with [text](http:///), though. Yes, 3 slashes.
Stack Overflow users have been using the "off topic - belongs on Programmers.SE" close reason as an alternative to all the other close reasons. It'd be helpful if people actually read the FAQ and the guidelines for six subjective questions before voting to migrate questions like:

@Moshe: The good news, is that encryption class I wrote for you turns out to have passed some testing by some of the more vocal security experts on SO (Rook namely). So looks like it's good to go
Personally, I would use mcrypt like others posted. But there is much more to note...
How do I encrypt and decrypt a password in PHP?

Open up two mysql command-line clients and connect to your database. In client #1, enter
START TRANSACTION;
In client #2, use SHOW PROCESSLIST, then
KILL [n];
where n is the id for client #1's connection. Bam—transaction rolled back. But client #1 doesn't know that. Then from client #1, sen...
Oh, and I hit the overflow bug again last night. Current score of -1,529,212,857 so not quite as good as the previous one (where I literally stayed at the MAX_SIGNED_INT + 1 ) but still pretty good.
@Moshe nah, I could game it by purposely selling down on volume. It would be tricky. I'll consider doing it this weekend. I'll try and keep a log when I do, what and where.

Oh, and to those of you who asked, the Xoom is pretty nice! the browser is RIDICULOUSLY fast (As in it feels faster than chrome on my windows computer). There are some bugs and issues, but so far I'm quite happy
@TheOutOfStarsException I say leave them off, if people don't realize Mrozek is all over the network (as most of the regulars in here are) then they probably don't really have a question for him.
@TheOutOfStarsException I think in general unless at least one candidate has something constructive to say (beyond "thanks mwah you're all beautiful") then leave off Final Thoughts on that particular THC
@TheOutOfStarsException I meant the content of the chats, not the actual chatrooms. I know the digests and chats aren't the same thing, but from a "how much I care about it" standpoint, they're equivalent.
@MichaelMrozek just FYI, Jeff fell off that bull very inelegantly and shortly after that photo was taken, so I wouldn't take too much from what that guy says ;)
@MichaelMrozek I feel like you did it on purpose to make balpha and/or rchern and/or Marc's lives harder, then realized it would make everyone's life harder, and thought "Sweet! Bonus!" to yourself before putting the code up for production.
@drachenstern I think that @balpha and @RebeccaChernoff should get together and engineer a garbage disposal which uses hundreds of Commander Keen robots to chop up the food.
Rebecca Chernoff asked: Final thoughts?
but there was no unified response... If candidates would like to post final thoughts, please do so in chat and @Josh me so I know to include them in this answer. Otherwise, I will conclude with a thought of my own:
Josh concluded: I would like to than...
@badpssockpuppet MDC has this huge article which should clear things up a little: https://developer.mozilla.org/en/JavaScript/Guide/Details_of_the_Object_Model#Class-based_vs._prototype-based_languages
For some reason the link broke up in two in your message
