@LynnCrumbling No. I'm going to nominate myself in all seriousness and try my best. But, confidence is low. If I fail, I will at least get good feedback, because I intend to run again in the future. So, it's a good opportunity to make a difference either way.
So no matter how it turns out, I don't lose.
Also I enjoy challenges a little too much, so it's motivation for me to try this time.
I know I could do a good job but my weakness right now is I really haven't done much to show that I can do a good job. Sitting in the tavern bickering with shog and posting annoying animated gifs doesn't count for much.
@pizza Thanks. If I had an obligation that wouldn't happen, plus being a moderator is way more satisfying than answering questions. That goes back to me doing nothing to show that. So if I want to have a chance next year I'd have to prove that I can pull my weight by staying active.

In other news, SE devs managed to hook up ru.SO Area 51 proposal to the already-existing site. Yay stats. Take a look at those visits/day.
I'm going to run for mod. 1. It would set a brilliant first record for being the youngest of SE participants and rep if I win 2. Just to see how far I go
Idea for next years' April Fools game: moderation at the micro-level, not macro. Introduction: Mod for a day. You have your own prestine copy of questions and answers. Your "SO" is effectively cached; choices to close, delete, and ban REAL LIFE users lie in your hands. Let some spam slip through? Your rating will drop. Unfairly sanction a problematic user? Risk removal! Now the real test begins. Coming Spring, 2016.
