If your 2013 hasn't thus far been so action-packed that you already had to start clearing out memories of 2012 to make room for the past week, you aren't living hard enough.
Here's my problem: I know I've posted something on Stack Overflow about a particular topic. I know how to search all my answers with a given keyword, and that feature works well. But, if I don't find anything, I assume that it must have been a comment that I posted on the subject, and I'd like ...
@jadarnel27 My english name is Neal Craig. or you can call me by my hebrew name which is Naftali Tuvia. Either way, there are 4 names to choose from ^_^
@Oded it isn't. unless you live in the shetls in Williamsburg, halacha needs to be modernized. and their are many orthodox rabbis that do (to a certain extent)
For example: How to deal with electricity and modern living.
I don't doubt it. But I find some laws to be so... over conservative, that one feels they must be questioned. Simple example - electric lights on Shabbat.
I do realize much of it is down to interpretations of very short and ambiguous passages in the bible :)
@amanaPlanaCAnalPAnaMA - I certainly feel that to many religious it has become that. I am much more of the belief that it is between me and the big man, and I'd rather leave organized religion out of it.
@MonicaCellio - Thanks. It never crossed my mind that it would be a problem - wouldn't have supported the proposal on area51 otherwise.
I haven't hit 10k on Stack Overflow yet, so I was quite surprised when hitting a link to a question that it turns out to be deleted, but yet the content was shown (all in one box). Besides the content box was shown this message (names edited out):
Could someone please explain what's happening...
Yeah, I always laugh a little when someone reports a bug that's actually related to one of my userscripts. Except that time that I broke chat for lots of people, that was bad. :P
@ircmaxell I think e-mailing the team is probably the most effective way to report abusive users. You could use a custom mod flag as well, but I'm not sure how much they can do.
Anonymous
@TimStone I think I was going to ask a question about one of your scripts once, but asked in chat first and someone (maybe even you) pointed it out and saved me.
Lol, we've been complaining to the county that our street never got plowed. So they sent out a truck to spray hot water up and down the street... It's not doing anything...
At first I thought he was just laying down sand, then I noticed that our street had been converted into a river. So I looked harder when he drove by the next time and, sure enough, it was water.
Hi guys, I'm confused. I lost 2 rep without any traces why. This is almost nothing I know but this cofuses me^^. I looked for deleted posts but nothing to see
As far as I'm aware, that doesn't apply to suggested edits. I remember I lost 2 reputation on Gaming about a month ago and couldn't figure out what edit it was...
Someone told me that he has seen software systems that would accept MD5 encrypted passwords (through various integrations with other systems), decrypt them, and store them in the systems own database using it's own algorithm.
Is that possible? I thought that it wasn't possible (feasible) to dec...
I have passwords stored in a database using md5, and was wondering if there was a way to reverse the hash to email the user's password to him in case they forget it.
If that's not the most appropriate method, what is the appropriate method for dealing with a lost password?
i thought, that it is impossible to decode md5 hashes, but i found tools, which decode them here. but i have no idea, how they do it in such a short period of time(it takes about a second).
Help me please to understand it.
Thanks
@MadaraUchiha My goal's to set folks up by the end of the week, depending somewhat on how quickly I get invitation emails out and how quickly folks respond. I started looking on Friday, but got sidetracked.
@MadaraUchiha Yeah, basically. Know how you guys have a nomination thread? I'm going to be looking at that as well as other active users, and picking out a few who have shown aptitude for moderation. Then I'll send out some emails to see if folks are interested (these act as an interview of sorts), and then out of those 3 people will be appointed.
