@Pandya Also read Tim's answer - those sort of tag issues really belong on individual site metas. But also what various people consider "free" software is really confusing to a lot of people so it'd be hard to expect everyone to use a variety of tags in a manner you think is right.

@YummyUnicornRainbowTails Can I edit it and be able to migrate to software-recommendation-meta @PeterJ

Q: Disable migration for questions older than 60 days

Shog9This has come up a few times now: migrating old questions causes problems. The most popular solution to this to date has been to reset votes on migrated posts. This is do-able, but frankly it feels like treating a symptom, and doing so in a way that penalizes folks who answer what are by all ap...

@RobertLongson then should I also vote for deletion?

4:05 PM
up to you how you vote

@RobertLongson what's your opinion?

it warns people about asking on the right site so I don't see a problem with it existing
I probably wouldn't vote to delete it if I had 10k on meta

Isn't an author deleting a question disallowed when the question has an upvoted answer?

@josilber I think so.

4:11 PM
@Pandya It's really up to you, as Robert said probably does serve as a bit of a pointer about being better on a site specific meta. But at the same time probably not especially useful so if you want it to be gone vote to delete it - I can't really see a way to improve it so it'll be re-opened / upvoted if that's what you're mainly worried about.

Oh! when I tried to vote,
Then How two vote for deletion made?

by users with > 10k

4:16 PM
@Pandya The rule is that you (the person who asked the question) can't delete due to the upvoted answer. However, 10k users can vote to delete.

Actually I wondered why you'd be able to vote to delete, yeah the delete button is different

I wonder if you get 10k yourself whether you can then vote to delete your own question when it has an upvoted answer?

Good question :). Lemme try this out on SO with one of my questions.
Nope, can't do it.
I first got a prompt telling me that it's not recommended to delete answered questions, and then I got the same red message that Pandya just posted.

Is there any >10k user or moderator available here (right now watching my discussion), then I want to request it to vote for delete or (for mod only) to delete it.

You could just flag for moderator attention, as the red message told you.

sd tpu=u-
sd tpu-

I suspect flagging would be unproductive i.e. rejected
although flagging a custom flag to have the post disassociated with your account might work, I think you'd keep the downvotes so far but wouldn't get any more

@RobertLongson Hmm, I recently read that all downvotes and upvotes are lost on disassociation. Trying to remember where.

depends on how nice the mods are feeling

4:22 PM
You could edit it into weight loss spam so we could all flag it as spam (joking don't do that)
