@ChrisF Asking about the purpose of question voting and asking why few people don't vote on questions are different, IMO.

1:58 AM
@Seth meh, the community consensus is quite overwhelming but the dev team refuses. I personally think it should come back as "too narrow" but meh.

Hey @balpha, out of curiosity, I remember you ran in a lot of issues surrounding Wikipedia oneboxing. DId you write up a blog post or SO answer on your experiences, or did I just dream that? I've looked at several occasions now but never found anything.

7:48 AM
@Pekka웃 I think you must have dreamt that, I can't recall anything you might be referring to

8:10 AM
@balpha ok, thanks! Then it was probably an animated chat discussion or something.
Or maybe a mention in the podcast... anyway.

Q: Flagging as Low Quality should add the post to the review queue

Asaf KaragilaIn How to handle crankery on MathOverlow 2.0? Andy Putman pointed out that he flagged a post as low quality, but it never reached the low quality review queue. I feel that in order to effectively handle cranks, or generally low quality posts, whenever a user (with sufficient reputation, maybe 1k...

Good feature request. Please vote.

Trail mix is a combination of dried fruit, grains, nuts, and sometimes chocolate, developed as a snack food to be taken along on hikes. Trail mix is considered an ideal snack food for hikes, because it is lightweight, easy to store, and nutritious, providing a quick energy boost from the carbohydrates in the dried fruit or granola, and sustained energy from fats in nuts. Both Hadley Fruit Orchards and Harmony Foods (two California growers) claim that trail mix was first invented in 1968 by two California surfers who blended peanuts and raisins together for an energy snack. However, t...

I don't believe in trail mix.
Frankly, I don't believe in trail mix or new close reasons.

Well, Skittles or M&M's are high in ready carbonhydrate/energy and salted nuts will replenish the salt you have lost in the sweat. So in theory, it is a good snack for hiking.

Personally I like to bring those when going bushwalking/hiking:

sugar hit after 5 hours hike - pricelss, especially when you still have a couple of more hours to go for the day

I think you've confused me with someone who believes that "trail mix" is a real thing.

@jadarnel27 just so long as you don't think this is a real thing: brown

When I'm hiking, I eat snakes and pinecones and matches and stuff.

When I'm hiking I eat other hikers.

They asked me to please not come back

That's pretty damn efficient, @jco. I'm impressed.
Then you get all of their carbohydrates and whatnot.

I decided to go the Rated-R version instead of the Rated-X version as both jokes were equally bad.

3:22 PM
And you become one step closer to being the one true Highlander.

When I'm hiking I eat honey badger. Honey badger don't care.

So I guess the advantage there is that it puts up less of a fight than the hikers. Due to it's apathy.
You could just eat suicidal hikers.

probably tastes better

The pinecones don't put up any fight at all, though.

less fishy (ah there's that other joke)

3:26 PM
How could a hiker ever be suicidal.
/o

Ah, I see where you were headed there.

Wait, 16 flags on /tools/flagged??? What's going on?

9:24 PM
@DanielFischer I have to assume you're shocked that it's so low
close flags are now in /review/close only - having them listed in 3 places wasn't really helping anyone.

Right. I'm more used to see numbers like 326 or 547 there. However, that was when close flags were still counted, the page is still well populated (I'd like to say to my relief, but...).

@DanielFischer Of course, the other side-effect of this change is that mods are now free to focus on the other flags, which tends to mean they're getting cleared out faster.

Sure, a good thing (hopefully, let's see how the review queue develops). Just takes a couple of minutes to get used to.

@Shog9 Oh, that happened now as well? Hmm, that explains a lot: However now we really need that ability to navigate close queue :/

@Manishearth eh, we're playing with a couple of options there.

9:38 PM
Oh, your answer counts as a solution to that
In fact it's better :)

Someone went on a closing spree on meta. o.o They're all bad votes though...

@animuson oh, just ignore that.
