Checking my reputation last night, I noticed that my rep changed. Recalculating discuss rep and adding them to my Area51 rep, I realized that discuss rep now adds up!
Can someone confirm this to be true?
Can't seem to confirm this - upvoting someone on A51 Discuss doesn't seem to cause a change in that person's reps
William Windsor (known as Billy), a goat in the military, was a lance corporal in the 1st Battalion, the Royal Welsh, an infantry battalion of the British Army. He served as a lance corporal from 2001 until 2009, except for a three-month period in 2006 when he was demoted to fusilier, after inappropriate behaviour during the Queen's Official Birthday celebrations while deployed on active duty with the battalion on Cyprus. He retired to Whipsnade Zoo in May 2009.
History
The tradition of having goats in the military originated in 1775, when a wild goat walked onto the battlefield in Bos...
This is... I don't know, I just...
> With some difficulty, a five-month old was chosen, and assigned army number 25142301—which represents regiment number 2514, 23rd Regiment of Foot (the original name of the Royal Welsh Fusiliers), and 01 denoting the 1st Battalion.[26] The new goat will also be called William Windsor, beginning as a fusilier whilst being trained for military life.[25] He will receive a ration of two cigarettes per day, which he eats, but will not be permitted Guinness until he is older.[25]
There's a goat in the English army. Which eats cigarettes. And beer when its a little older.
@badpssockpuppet Ah, but unless you commit suicide, you never 'do' being dead - at least not intentionally. This isn't a very formal presentation of the argument
@RebeccaChernoff After the most recent update if I type '. (or various other combinations of character + period) in the Inspector console it crashes my tab.
It's kind of annoying, and I wanted to know if it was somehow just me. :P
@YiJiang Yeah, I suspect that it's something to do with it trying to suggest autocompletions where it has no business doing so, or something. It seems to happen after quote-like characters (`,',") and closing parenthesis. Makes doing just about everything a bit problematic, heh.
Just took some time to read through the EU cookie guideline brief; the rules are ridiculous - how could anyone follow them without destroying the user experience either through using consent forms for every cookie they use or not use cookies at all and reduce site functionality?
I'm tying to install the Android SDK on my Windows 7 x64 System. jdk-6u23-windows-x64.exe is installed, but the Android SDK setup refuses to proceed, because it doesn't find the JDK installation.
Is this a known issue? And is there a solution?
@MichaelMrozek oh I feel such the early bird, I woke at 1300. Then after walking the mutt, while I was fixing a bowl of granola and milk, I got a call that a friend was in an accident about five miles from here. So I'm really just getting home ... alas
It's so simple, I feel like an idiot...
The problem was, the base layout was oriented horizontal. Simply adding a android:orientation="vertical" was enough to make it work right. Sigh.
