The fun thing is that even if the feature movie happens to be bad (and I don't think it will be), we might still be thankful it's happening. For, you see, the movie will be one of these epic stories where the ponies have to fight an evil monster and save Equestria. Just like the EG movies so far, but probably unlike the EG episodes that will be released this year. So with the movie, they can afford to put more ordinary slice of life episodes in the pony season, which I think is a good thing.

Of course, there'll still be a season closer which will be one of those save Equestria things (and I think it's about Queen Chrysalis, but I'm not completely sure).
