(I actually have a water gun in my bedroom now... mom wants me to keep the neighborhood cats of off the fence... they sometimes jump off of it into our garden, ruining our shrubs/herbs)
So far though, I haven't had a good chance to use it... they flee whenever I open the window to take aim!
Maybe leaving the window open would work, this morning one was on the fence while I did have the window open... but the insect screen needs to stay closed and now it fled while I opened that sooooooo
They're used to dogs.... they're the neighbors, the same one that used to have 30 dogs. She now has at least 3 cats roaming around, I do hope for my parent's sake there won't be even more next summer
