woahh, clean air!

@MetaAndrewT. 32 of those messages were about one user .-.

hah. okay, make sense ._.

What does this number indicate?Number of visitors?

@Wolgwang total number of users who have joined since the room was created

5:40 AM
Entered the room..?

I think you have to chat to be counted

Thanks :D
@JourneymanGeek Hmm?

caching?

What's that?

@Rob "So... it has come to this"

it's Father's Day! nuked
no, it's not...

If a suggested edit gets two reviews that reject it as spam does it count the same as if it recieved six flags for spam?

@Rob I believe the rep penalty won't kick in, but not sure for behind-the-scene mechanics

@Rob Don't think do

Rob
It looks like if you do it a few times you get a temporary edit ban: meta.stackexchange.com/a/161391/282094 meta.stackexchange.com/a/76284/282094 - that seems quite insufficient.
Thus my ping.

@Rob no issue with the ping
Just amused that folks are trying 'new' ways to sneak in spam

A better idea would be two spam rejections to reject the edit, four unanimous spam rejections to edit ban, and six for a 100 rep loss; all subject to moderator review, possibly hours (days?) later on some infrequently visited sites

Would be worth proposing on meta :D
the lack of visibility is an issue

Rob
Someone else can take the idea.
A blessing and a curse, as the spam could be offensive; like the 'doll spam' - in any event there would be a mod notification, so it's not quite as drastic as the six flags loses 100 rep (as there's no limit to how many times that happens).

@JourneymanGeek Of course it did. Where was it?

@Tinkeringbell wierdly enough in a box that I thought had my dad's stuff
had that and a bunch of my brother's old stuff, which makes no sense

Yeah, that's weird.

Unless someone saw the bag of stuff and threw it into the nearest box

So now you're still looking for a box of dad's stuff? :P

naw
I THINK I shredded all of the stuff that should have been in there that was dad's stuff

8:33 AM
Ah, okay :)

So I now have 2 sets of everything but working third hands
and the old one is missing its pincers, and is rusty so I might toss it out
(I'm pickling it to see if it helps, we've had it a while)

Fingers crossed ;)

Well I have an identical working one so, at worst I just throw it out :D

(about 2 minutes)
Windows has no courage to admit it'll take more time. Shame. :P

@Tinkeringbell I'm not sure I fully grasp your last paragraph in your answer. Are you suggesting I can now flag your answer and ask to undo a downvote and then you make that happen with the help of the CM team? For science I would like to try that.

@rene lol. In theory it would be how it would be done. In practice it will be a waste of time for all involved

If it succeeds I'll be ROFLOL. Foremost because it is not my downvote on that answer ...

4:25 PM
@rene Eh, no :P My idea was that you could flag one of your own post / the post you downvoted and ask for mods to ask a CM to reverse the vote :P But like I said, bad idea to begin with XD

4:42 PM
Glad we agree on that ...
