@DroidDev strangely enough incompetent managers can only apply pressure down the line of command. They always seem to fail to put the pressure back to where it belongs: at the table of customer with their ridiculous demands and timelines.

@rene umm....with extreme sorrow, I am telling you this, that there will be no sentence. I'll just have to pay some fine in INR. If there was a sentence, at-least I'd have gotten some holidays from company

@rene totally agree there. Time estimate we gave was 3 months and this is just 6th week into development. They want us to complete 90% of project this week. Totally don't know how to handle such manager :/

@ShadowWizard I had forever.js configured to keep the bot running also after updates/restarts and fresh pull requests. Turned out that forever.js doesn't kill any child processes so I still had to go over the process list and kill any leftover processes. I now replaced it with pm2 which did work on the test instance but doesn't on the live one. Digging into that right now.

one problem solved, that was a typo. Hit a new problem ...

@ShadowWizard FYI: I have written (eMail) approval (actually "endorsement" ...) from the SE team that it's OK for me to post a self answered question, with a title something like "How to know who downvoted your own (non-meta) answer on any SE site?". And I've collected 6 of my answers, on meta.SE, which have at least 1 (anonymous) downvote. I now plan some more QA-testing to ensure I can use all 6 of them in the demo-part of my answer ... D-day is currently set to next Sunday ...
