@SilentKiller actually, I was trying to disable clicks on listview for certain amount of time, but setClickable() and setEnabled() weren't working

@SilentKiller I am not intercepting onItemClick, I am instead using click events in adapter's getView()

actually, I need to perform functions on the basis of item clicked, like a button in a row opens chat, user avatar is that same row opens user profile

so, getView was good option

@DroidDev using convertview's click event and setting listView as setClickable() and setEnabled() definitely it will not work.

although you can use itemclick as well as that button clicks too.

@DroidDev you are assigning clickable and enable flags to ListView while assigning click event to adapter's getView() so that flag will not work. need to setClickable(false) to adapter's getView() object.
