@Shog9 But don't you already sort of have a basis for "private" network sites? Meaning private betas? It's been a while since I've tried to visit a private beta without the join link and there aren't any to try it on right now.

not quite as private

Sure. But I'd think it'd be more easy to make it private?

@alexolut I missed what the deal was with this. I thought you were just mad at me for something.

@BrianNickel But... you make the iOS app better... what's there to be mad about?

@BrianNickel naw just mad about science.

10:51 PM
@Catija Thought it might have to do with me moving to DAG or ignoring a дефект or something. Was a mystery.

@BrianNickel Ah. Nope. Did you see alex's MSE post about it?... I'd link to it but I can't find it... I guess it was deleted?

@BrianNickel thanks. @Andrew is there still a bug anyway? I'm not sure how to reproduce it myself.
@alexolut pretty sure you accepted answers that you never accepted before... but yeah, +100 was nice to see. :D
@Catija this?

@ShadowWizard Yes. My brain just blanked.

:)
Just searched for "unaccept", sorted by activity.

@ShadowWizard I looked for it on both alex and Journeyman Geek's profiles and failed to see it. :/

11:07 PM
@Catija well they both posted more since then... @alex has 6 newer posts and @Journeyman got 3. Or maybe you sort by votes, which is why you don't see it at all in their profile summary.

@ShadowWizard Nah, I sorted by recent but thought it was yesterday instead of two days ago.

heh
Time goes faster than we think

Particularly weekend time.

Time flies if you're having fun ...

Yes. My MIL was in town so I actually got to see movies (2!) this weekend.

11:11 PM
@Catija Thor?

@Catija I post a lot ^^

I'll see it in 20 hours

@ShadowWizard yes. And Blade Runner 2049

Even if at the moment, all my reasons except "I know this".... don't quite work ;p
@Catija I loved Blade Runner 2049

@Catija nice! BR2049 was also on my list, but was able to see only one, so Thor was chosen. Not a fair fight. :D

11:12 PM
I got to answer two whole questions on M&TV. It was exciting.

Its one of those movies I'll take twice as long to watch cause I keep wanting pause it and go oooooh

@JourneymanGeek 6 hours instead of 3 :P

@Catija and totally worth it
also, I took something like 5 years to watch blade runner the first time

@JourneymanGeek rare in modern movies

11:14 PM
We rewatched the orginal Friday night, saw the new one Saturday and Thor on Sunday.

Nice! And you didn't watch the previous Thor? @Catija

(In pieces. My memory of 'my first vieweing' bladerunner is a mix of the voice over edition and one of the intermediate cuts)

@ShadowWizard You mean both the previous ones plus the Avengers films? No. I'd seen them more recently, anyway.

@Catija I mean this:
Thor is a 2011 American superhero film based on the Marvel Comics character of the same name, produced by Marvel Studios and distributed by Paramount Pictures. It is the fourth film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The film was directed by Kenneth Branagh, written by Ashley Edward Miller & Zack Stentz and Don Payne, and stars Chris Hemsworth, Natalie Portman, Tom Hiddleston, Stellan Skarsgård, Colm Feore, Ray Stevenson, Idris Elba, Kat Dennings, Rene Russo and Anthony Hopkins. The film sees Thor, the crown prince of Asgard, banished to Earth and stripped of his powers after he reignites a dormant...

The plot is also a teensy bit simpler.
@ShadowWizard I know. But there's another film after that one and before this one plus several Avengers films that include Thor and that particular plot line.

11:16 PM
@Catija oh, but he's not the main character in these. ;)

Fortunately, the theater had preshow recaps of the other movies.

Think I watched all Marvel movies in the last years.

Thor: The Dark World is a 2013 American superhero film based on the Marvel Comics character Thor, produced by Marvel Studios and distributed by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures. It is the sequel to 2011's Thor and the eighth film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The film was directed by Alan Taylor, with a screenplay by Christopher Yost and Christopher Markus & Stephen McFeely. It stars Chris Hemsworth, Natalie Portman, Tom Hiddleston, Anthony Hopkins, Stellan Skarsgård, Idris Elba, Christopher Eccleston, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, Kat Dennings, Ray Stevenson, Zachary Levi, Tadanobu Asano, Jaimie...
He is in ^ that one...:/

@Catija ohhhhh forgot about that one... lol!
Watched it as well.

By the way, this guy is awesome:
Taika David Waititi ( ( listen); born 16 August 1975), also known as Taika Cohen, is a New Zealand film director, writer, actor, and comedian. He was nominated for an Academy Award for his 2004 short film Two Cars, One Night. His feature films Boy and Hunt for the Wilderpeople have both been the top grossing New Zealand films, with Hunt for the Wilderpeople still holding that title as of 2017. Horror comedy What We Do in the Shadows, which he directed with Jemaine Clement, also won critical acclaim. Waititi's film Thor: Ragnarok from Marvel Studios was released in October 2017 and received critical...

11:20 PM
@Catija yeah I'm amazed how Marvel always (most of the times?) choose "not so famous" directors and sometimes actors for their films, and it always turns out for the best.

What We Do in the Shadows has a huge cult following.

I remember Chris Hemsworth from Home and Away for example, not sure when he made his way to become a superstar, but might as well be as a result of Marvel. No?

There's three of them. It's funny.
The first thing I think people really saw him in was that tiny part in the new Star Trek reboot.

@Catija might be, yeah
