I uncovered a bunch of plagiarism from this account metasmoke.erwaysoftware.com/… -- the ones with speech bubbles are probably up and probably should be flagged if you have the time and the inclination
@SPArcheon well, see, it is very simple. Once a question is posted at -2 days, and 95% of the question is still open at day 2, you can upvote it. Repeat that 50 times.
@M.A.R. I... don't get it. the point was that if a question has to be still there after two days, voting on spam questions that will be probably be deleted in a few hours seems a waste of time.
@SPArcheon You seem to assign much more thought into this than somebody who'd just want the hat. Do remember that people vote fraudulently all the time. For stuff at least as meaningless as a hat (e.g. badges).
Of course, it might not be related to the Gem hats. The fact still remains that somebody upvoted the spam question.
Were we to apply the clear thinking and rational logic you've assigned to the Gem hat hunters, it means that nobody at all could have upvoted it. Could it be by accident? No, the users would surely double-check their votes. Could it be intentional? No, why upvote spam. Could it be an accomplice to the spammer? No, it makes no sense to even post the spam, given that it's dealt with in minutes. There is nobody left who can cast an upvote with that logic.
Ergo, we must allow for somebody not applying this logic when casting upvotes. Ergo, it opens up all sorts of new opportunities. Including (but not limited to) the Gem hat huners.
@ShadowWizardIsVaccinatedV3 Yep. What you said. Totally. You should study it and rewatch until you get the hidden clue. And whatever you do, don't search for who gave Yaakov the idea to put that there in the first place.
People with more experience than me: I just noticed that rollbacks with a custom edit summary display without it in the Activity page (All Actions & Revisions). Is this new for the new Activity page (i.e. is it an answer to the announcement post or a separate question)?
