Can someone check out this post and tell me if the table renders properly. For me, it rendered correctly in the edit screen but not the post, and I'm wondering if that happened to others before I report a [bug] askubuntu.com/questions/1381055/…
@Catija I'm aware of the proper formatting, I'm saying [in theory] the way it renders in the edit box should be the same as how it looks on the question/answer page
@Catija Technically a spin off of G4. I assume it sprouted from some executive meddling. It is quite evident in the first movie - someone told the writers to make a "school annual dance event" centered movie, so they had to fit in many stereotypes from usual school movie. Luckily enough, they somehow manage to keep their influence minimal, and slowly diverge.
Anyway, just for sake of completion, that show - Equestria Girls - takes place in an alternate dimension.
@MartijnPieters, if SE includes ads on it's pages, SE is responsible for them. It isn't the site users' responsibility to solve the problem for SE so they can safely look at ads. If people need to use ad blockers to avoid malicious ads when visiting SE sites, SE won't get much revenue from ads. — fixer1234Oct 6 '19 at 15:50
A site may have no control over the ads that gets inserted. But it has control on the trash networks it chooses to use, and has the responsibility to choose based on legality and affordability instead of just choosing the one that pays off the most... — SPArcheon5 mins ago
@ShadowWizardIsVaccinatedV3 sometime "enough" to pay off your destroyed reputation is not feasible.
Some of those central "value" and "competition advantage" is exactly the fact that they are trusted to check.
@ShadowWizardIsVaccinatedV3 there are two sides. The ones who pay a provider to host their ads, and the ones who are paid to host the ads from the provider on their site.
the first one probably don't care like you said.
The second ones... probably do in some specific cases.
Take Google for example since it is mentioned in the message above.
Google as an ads platform for third parties... is HORRIBLE.
Well I agree switching provider can help, but don't agree it will be 100% crap-free. Maybe 98% vs. 95% we have today, for example. So, don't think those meager 3% worth the trouble.
but.. did you notice that the ads they have on Youtube are far more "safe"?
the few incidents that happened over the full course of Youtube life were accurate and targeted "bait-and-switch" attacks where a bad actor managed to switch the ads after passing the initial check.
so... they are totally able to be more responsible for what they care about.
No. All hats can be earned on any participating Stack Exchange site. There are also a few hats that can only be earned through meta site participation.
@Luuklag It's not called 'i hate hats' anymore though... 'No hats for me please' just doesn't have the same grinchyness to it. And why should I say please?!
They do this for almost every answer on every new post that gains traction the way that one has. If something was going to happen, I would think it would have by now.
It's not discriminate towards winter bash or anything else, really - Just answers on popular posts. For example, new staff posts that solicit feedback about a new feature or change typically get a bunch of answers, all of which will be downvoted by this user. I wouldn't call it serial voting either since it's less "I'll downvote this person/these people" and it's more "I'll downvote everything" which AFAIK isn't disallowed.
@Spevacus depends. It is true that we have no rule on voting so one IS allowed to vote randomly or out of spite, but we have rules against serial voting and / or gaming the system
Did a bit of digging Got Adam to do a bit of digging and found that I was both correct and incorrect!
This is a caching issue but it's not related to the tag engine specifically. So... here we go:
Post counts aren't cached at all - this means that they will always be current.
Tag stats per user ...
would anyone take it as an offense if I silently added the Winter-bash tag on a winter-bash-2021 question that doesn't have it yet so that badge gets finally generated?
A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away...
Yaakov had to single-handedly save a Winter Event. With so little time and so little budget, he reused the previous year's assets and managed to save the day once again.
In doing so, our little loyal subject reused an Easter egg from the previous year ...
Purely as a form of protest against the . . . capitalist monarchial imperialist happy symbols that are really not happy and it's sorta deep bruh you know
