Was this a bad suggestion? meta.stackexchange.com/review/suggested-edits/74772 I wanted to change the links which did not demonstrate the problem described anymore to stable links which do.

@Rubiksmoose → from Charcoal: Thanks. Here's an acrylic cube:

A rubidium cube! nice!

@Rubiksmoose If you really like it a lot I can find the link to the original image (without antlers) and there are real moose antler images available; you can DIY an acrylic atomic element sample cube with actual antlers.

I just realized the quote block on Jira is also vertical line and grey.

OMG! Stack is going to be sold to Atlasian! The styling already matches!
I can totally see how Aaron is going to be tasked with creating the Dark mode for Jira ...

Or Bitbucket integration with SO post ...

LOL

@DavidPostill something you migrated seem to have ended up on the wrong site, at least according to the OP and one commenter: meta.stackexchange.com/q/353931/158100

@rene Oops. They can reject the migration.

As a user? How does that work? Closing their question?

@rene I think a mod needs to do do it.

Okay, thanks. Then my comment makes sense

@rene OK. I've reopened it on Super User

8:48 AM
lol
@DavidPostill I was going to take a look post walkies :D

@JourneymanGeek Yeah. My mistake. Mea Culpa as they say :)

@DavidPostill posting on our meta would still be the right thing. We're only human, even when we're dogs :D

Agreed if it was not clear. But I made an obvious mistake seeing the word emacs whan it was not about emacs but about emacs like key bindings for another program (bash)

@DavidPostill It would also be better in addition to doing that, to notify a moderator of the destination site to close the question, so that there aren't multiple copies of the same question on different sites.

A: Moderator Cheat Sheet

user149432Migrations and cross-site communication You don't need permission to migrate questions, and definitely shouldn't be pinging moderators on another site every time you have something that needs migration. When in doubt, don't migrate; if you want to learn more about the scope of another site, read...

See the last section

@SonictheMaskedWerehog I did, in a comment on the other site meta question.
@SonictheMaskedWerehog There is only one mod on emacs and he is not pingable in TL.

9:05 AM
@DavidPostill Sorry, where? I didn't see a question on Emacs Meta.

@SonictheMaskedWerehog Oh dear, I'm not having a good day. It was on meta.se

@DavidPostill Sad that the notification bot isn't in the new TL...
@DavidPostill Are they active here?

I also commented on the migrated question on ecams to let the OP know it has been reopened.
@SonictheMaskedWerehog No.

As you've said, they're not active in TL, and the new TL doesn't support superpinging or the notification bot, so it may not be worth the effort to try to get ahold of them. I'll comment on the Emacs question with a link to this policy and hope enough users with close voting privileges can see it.

Or ask a Meta mod to superping

9:14 AM
@SonictheMaskedWerehog 👍

oh, We haf vays.

@Mithical I was thinking of that, but I didn't bother asking because I didn't think @JourneymanGeek would be up for it.

It seems to be back.
I might have had bad luck with a busy thread

We trust your SEDE skillz!
My Interest goes out occasionally, but if I can see other people have Internet I reboot my router - better than 80% success rate.

I have a very stable ASDL connection. And I'm so close to the
telephone exchange building that if I yank the cable here their stuff tumbles down ....

Now that's some pull.
Coulda been the cause of the problem in the first place, swinging foot under desk.

This seems poorly thought out, or doesn't work well: Link on MSE's questions page (currently about 4 down, on the "All Questions") ending with [Migrated] takes you to SO's 404 (waffle maker) which seems appropriate:

Q: My question was exactly what I was trying to ask - Where does it go?

@Rob I think the most likely cause is that the post was closed as a duplicate on MSO and then deleted. But only someone with 10k+ on SO can confirm for sure.

A: Don't reverse migrations on deleted posts if they were merged first

Shog9This was actually fixed back in 2013 with an explicit check for a merged state; we just forgot to update this meta post. HOWEVER, as Raphael noted in the comments... Merges are really just a special case of a more general problem: questions closed as duplicates after being migrated still could n...
