I'm usually at an office too, but I got stuff to do here this afternoon, so I asked for special permission to work from home... which isn't so special since it's always granted XD

Could someone look into this? I'm guessing a bunch of alternate accounts are being used because the spammer believes that the favorites button makes the question look more popular.
@JourneymanGeek That's what I thought, but the poster actually replied to me, calling me "sir" and telling me it's not spam, and that I can visit their website for more info (lol).
@JourneymanGeek Interestingly, I saw a spammer for something weird like sex dolls, after getting their spam questions/answers deleted, make an actual contribution to an HNQ question on World Building. In broken English of course, but it was a real answer. I found that really cool.
@ShaWiz 'We'll look into it' is a lot different from 'we're actually going to do it' and you're treating it like the latter. You could've just asked for an update/end result of looking into it!
@ShaWiz Well, sure. One of the things that sucks about meta is that if you write an answer like that, then switch jobs... nobody might update the question/answer anymore. But that's not something you can fix by leaving comments like the one you left.
@JourneymanGeek why nothing? Ideally, I'd expect some short "We're still looking into it", or "That's no longer in review", etc, comment replies, they can even be canned to save them time. It's not like we ask hundreds of "Hey, is this still planned" per day. meh
@ShaWiz Well, still. I'd much appreciate it if there were fewer comments to delete that just complain, and don't ask. If you're tired of asking and getting no reply, I'm sorry things turned out that bad. But what people are doing now doesn't get them anywhere either, it only makes things worse as the reply will be more silence :/
@Marshmallow did you mean دخ غخع ئهسهدفثقحقثفثی صاشف ه سشح.?
To be honest no, I don't really know.... GT knows... I did learn Arabic at middle school (7th to 9th grades) but don't really remember any of it except the very basics.
(e.g. know the meaning of common words and can detect letters like aliph)
