> The middle flag option is now named "It's not relevant". I'm sure someone complained about this phrasing in the past when new comment reasons have been demo'd, but lots of comments that are relevant should still be removed. There was nothing wrong with the previous name of "No longer needed"... can we please have that phrasing back, or at least keep the spirit of it with "Not needed"? As it stands, "It's not relevant" is factually incorrect in some cases and repeated in the longer subheading.
I think 10k mod tools really need some love... undeleting a(n old) question is almost an impossible feat, even commenting to let the "reviewer" know the reason why I voted to undelete is impossible ;_;
can't help, mod-flagged it just now...
perhaps it's a big effort to add "delete review queue" and "undelete review queue" to the review popup for 10k users?
@Magisch I think I have already demonstrated multiple times that my be-nice standards are somehow different from theirs, so I am pretty sure that wouldn't end well
@SonictheInclusiveHedgehog I'd assume it's delegated to the Community since they don't have enough rep to comment.... but hey, that's just a theory. A Game theory!
I noticed that the "no longer needed" flagging option for comments was changed to "not relevant". Okay, fine. This should affect all future flags.
But I noticed when looking in my flag history that all of my previous "no longer needed" flags had changed to "not relevant", including those I cast ...
@JourneymanGeek We're looking at it. I'm with you that the change isn't great. Trying to better understand it and see what can be done about it. :) Will hopefully have an update soon.
@Catija I noticed that the team is simply putting out changes without posting an announcement in advance or at the time the change was made. Often I see users (including me) asking about the change before there's an announcement, and then a long delay before a staff member eventually responds. Why is that?
@πάνταῥεῖ It used to be that they'd announce the change quickly, and open up answers for bug reports and suggestions. They were busy during those times as well. Obviously something else has changed.
