If you swim in the ocean, water can suffocate you. If you climb the mountain, you can fall and break vital organs. If you are in a forest or on a grassland, poisonous snakes and spider can come and bite you. Trees might fall onto you, mudslide can cover you. If you don't get enough sun, you will become vitamin deficient, but too much sun will give you cancer. Literally everything in nature is designed to take your precious life.

I need to be less active outdoors, I am covered in bruises ...

9:23 AM
@TelautonomousKitty If a predator needs to eat you to survive, it will try to eat you to survive. If you aren't adapted to the environment, the environment will possibly cause you harm.
Then, humans came and made it worse.
If someone feels miserable or simply bored, it will try to make you feel worse because fun.
I doubt the snake even given the ability would start a flame war in a chatroom with the purpose to induce random strangers in anger, depression or try to cause some suicide. "Men" do.
Isn't nice what our evolved brains are capable of? The wonderful things we learned to archive? Hurt others "for fun"!

9:53 AM
@Derpy pretty sure trolls can be of either gender.

10:09 AM
@JourneymanGeek ok, you have a point, but I used "Men" in its generic, gender-less broader meaning. Which may or may not be an actual thing mother-language English speakers do, so just mentally replace that with "humans"

@Derpy ah ok

@Derpy They're also capable of compassion and altruism. We have a choice, thats what sets us apart from other animals. We can and frequently do choose to be better then our base instincts

If you try to live, you'll die in the end. If you don't do anything, you'll die anyway.
The only winning move is not to

10:28 AM
@Magisch actually, I am felling that "ethics" is getting less and less relevant for more and more persons by the day

@Derpy Thats just a result of increased communications
The world has always been this messed up, it's just easier to find out about it now then it was like 10 years ago

I am a VIT - very important troll ... or very intelligent troll <shameless_self_promotion>

You're a vaguely domesticated troll.
Not wild and dangerous.
You're the garden tiger of trolls ;p

@TelautonomousKitty Nice flowers!

prepare for more doujin ^

12:09 PM
I think you don't get the reference, right?
the Sonic dress is a real capsule available in Project Diva.
So my point is that while I can live with "Sonic" in a rhythm game... I don't see much need for Miku in a Sonic game.

12:44 PM
It's SE~~~GA~~~ after all...

with the difference that the first is official, the second isn't.
wait - that is misleading. The Project Diva one is official, the mania mod isn't
still better than
Knuckles Mania & Knuckles & Knuckles & Knuckles & Knuckles & Knuckles & Knuckles.....

Knuckles Knuckles Knuckles Knuckles
Knuckles Knuckles Knuckles Knuckles
Knuckles Knuckles Knuckles Knuckles
So~nic So~nic!
Oh, it's Tales oh~ it's Tales oh~~
(not a real song btw)

3 hours later…
4:12 PM
Windows' Feedback Hub asking for Chrome...
AFAIR, this is the first time Windows asking feddback for non-Windows component...

Fed back? Yup, for sure. ;-)

but 1337 trolls working 24 x 7 to make the internet a more interesting place

I suppose that's one way to put it...
@Shog9 Time for the entire network to get really quiet?

too quiet

You know what they say... when the kids are too quiet, that's when you worry.

Ask yourself, why is there a cap on the amount of reputation you can earn per day on Stack Overflow? Sometimes, the solution is less Stack Overflow and more actual work at your job.
maybe everyone is still following Jeff? :)
long weekend in the US thanks to MLK day on Monday... I'm glancing around wondering why people are still here.

@AaronHall I'm not sure I understand that... I don't like answering questions when I'm rep capped... so I just find somewhere else on the network to do so.

10:19 PM
yeah, well, when the cap was implemented there was only one site... We didn't follow through very well on that.
...and I'm afraid "network-wide rep cap" would probably not be a super-popular feature-request now

user202362

Good guess.

Aside: I rarely ever get unsolicited emails asking for programming advice anymore. But due to an answer I posted years ago on Seasoned Advice, I regularly get questions about making gummy candies.

I'm not sure how you justify preventing me from gaining rep on one site merely because I hit 1K network wide that day...
... not that I've ever done that.
That would be an interesting SEDE query...
How much rep single users make in a day network-wide.

man these people need to go home so I can go home...

10:31 PM
@Shog9 ... someone just posted an answer to that... how weird.
Oh, never mind... you edited it and that kicked the answers into smokey causing one of them to be flagged.

good
hopefully the link I added will give folks a better avenue for research than emailing me

user202362
I often get emails asking me whether I want to beat my competitors and making my website on the first page of google search

WHY WOULDN'T YOU?

HA HA. I do remember seeing that answer a while back. I remember being jealous. Going on a tour of one of the Jelly Belly Jelly Bean factories is a life goal for me.
@SmokeDetector why

user202362
they say money and the idiot who has it soon part their ways, surely I wouldn't be that idiot ... if I had tens of thousands spare cash, I would be trying to build a bigger autonomous cars ... imagine what self driving tank could do, HAHAHA

10:38 PM
quick, someone write me an intelligent self-evaluation that covers most aspects of good employeeness...

Does work on time, doesn't ask unnecessary questions.

10:49 PM
Gets it right the first time. Handles responsibilities responsibly. Makes good suggestions. Doesn't steal others' lunches. Apologizes when breaking wi... th convention.
injects a little... levity into his self-eval

Best thing about my job... I don't have to self-evaluate.

I'll be more in the Happy Hour spirit when I finish this eval...
eval(self)
^^^^ that works if you subclass str

I'll take your word for it.

11:08 PM
everyone does...

... I doubt it. You're an SO mod. Most of those troublesome users y'all deal with probably don't listen to much of anyone.
