The downside of kind of being involved in one of the top 10 most expensive property markets, is that, even being a tiny, loserish developer owning lands, when someone come up to you, telling you he is a millionaire. You kind of think "but a million dollars can't buy you a shed in poorer side of the town, if you want to tell me you are rich, at least say that you are multi-millionaire"? - I don't care about money all that much, but having money apparently is a really good way to shut people up

Hi! Is there any site proposed for wikipedia (software/engine/website) related questions? or is there any existing site cover the topic?
user202362
@Shog9 you need to visit yvette & her horses in sydney, if you do so I will buy you a jar of whiskey ...
@Pandya not really as far as I know
and for the last bit, wikipedia.se would be.... strange, since they have their own support/governance framework
Hmm. however I think not all users know and understand all the things related to wikipedia.
let me check if webapps may cover somethings.
webapps might. If its admin, maybe pro-webmasters. If its extending... SO?

@Telkitty I have an ass due on Mon, can we make it Tuesday?
user202362
@YvetteColomb I thought you only have horses, now you have a donkey (ass) as well? :p
user310756
@Telkitty lolol it is a pain in the a55. It's for IT project management. I can safely say, it is the most boring subject I've ever studied
user310756
this ass and an exam and I'm done with it
user310756
Any way, I've done next to no work on it, so need to pull the finger out. It's long

@YvetteColomb Project Management 101: Tell people what to do, check their progress, conclude they didn't do anything you asked them, assign blame, rinse and repeat.
And still somehow project managers get paid well. It's beyond me ...
;p
@rene they also change top bars... ;p

What is happening here? Who is Mirza Sharafat by Saira Batool on writers.stackexchange.com
user315433
Fortunately automatic protection kicked in.
@Michelle that looks like it is organized abuse?
@Michelle did you flag it for a mod?
09:29
seems somewhat fishy
user310756
@rene that and determine what the client wants - totally misunderstand it - communicate it to the programmers, and produce something that doesn't meet anyone's requirements
that is a valuable addition, yes XD
That sounds like management of any sort ;p
Oh, and don't forget managing expectations
user310756
yep
09:36
By which you mean overpromising ? ;p
user310756
The best project I worked on - was one I managed and also wrote much of the code on. There was little that needed managing. I knew what the client needed and we implemented it, after two other businesses had failed with incompetent project managers who didn't understand programming
10:06
@Michelle It seems it's shared to... I dunno, private chat group? Not sure if it's an organized abuse, but just a bunch of people not having a clue how SE works...
@Elias well, mods are the best people to investigate slightly odd stuff ;p

@JNat if you're around there is a cross-site spammer that might need nuking.

@redhand I'd guess the time of last edit.
user315433
Or, more likely, "Job Posted" line is just a part of text they entered, copy-pasting it from another place where the ad was posted earlier.
user315433
A-ha!?
