I ran into something that's a little personally "butt-hurting" but also maybe a violation of SO guidelines.

Not sure how to handle it. Long time member, don't want to cause a scene on meta with a post.

What does the Tavern suggest I do?

I dunno what the right thing to do is.

Basically, I have a calendar library for iOS that I made a number of years ago.

Someone made one recently and was pretty successful with it (judging by engagement and GitHub stars.)

The "butthurt" part is the attitude being used to promote it.

And the answers on SO and Quora are similar to the author's own Readme.

Basically, this whole answer is at best in really poor taste, at worst either plagiarism, or sock puppetry.

I don't suspect any sockpuppetry though... The OP of the answer only answered the question regarding iOS calendar library once. The library maker then edited and added the link. Coincidence, probably, but doesn't look like a sockpuppetry.

@Elias That's why I hesitate to draw that conclusion, but... are two instances of that answer on Quora though.

And the Cocoapods endorsement sounds like the library author's voice.
