any form of ID (including gravatar) can be seem as a pointer to an actual person (you)

user202362
to get to the actual you, a user needs to call getUser(id, time);

user202362
but most users don't have privilege to call this function :p

@Alex singers/bands often disappear without a trace....
@Telkitty nice! So you paid her a visit finally? You discussed ways to bring SE down improve overall world economy? :D
@Inc. when in doubt click! ;)

user202362
this was the 2nd time we met up - the first time she came over & this time I went to meet her horses ...

I only see Telkitty and Yvette there ;p

@rene no, know for sure that MSE got them way more relaxed, so most likely smaller sites also got them with different parameters.
@Inc. which is who? ;)

@ShadowWizard hmm, that is true.

8:10 AM
@rene feels good to say the truth :D
Let's express it in the Den....

user310756
8:46 AM
@Telkitty horsome!! :D

user310756
@ShadowWizard yes we plotted the overthrow of SE had a nice chat and played with the horses :_

@YvetteColomb glad you two had fun! :P
No beers?

user202362

We are sending me over to the States on Aug 29th to take over ... wait, I am just going over there on my own to sight raccoons ... or maybe some bear and bison

9:51 AM
@Telkitty driving?! Thought you're all for hiking! :D

I love hiking solo, although I have never camped by myself in the middle of no where, every time I look at that picture above and think that maybe I get to do that one day, I feel a rush of joy and happiness.

user310756
@ShadowWizard I don't like beer O>O

10:17 AM
What happened here?

user310756
@rene I'm not sure what that was

@YvetteColomb it is a rollback but why the diff is broken I have no clue ...

user310756
@rene yeh that is what I meant

@YvetteColomb whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat?!?!!1?!?!?!?!?//?!???!
don't.... like.... beer....

user310756
@ShadowWizard nope - I like a dry red wine - a vodka mixer and kahlua

10:28 AM
@rene OP edited question to something totally different, think he was trying to answer, and I rolled back. As for empty diff, no sure either.... maybe new bug, or old bug that was never spotted before as it's quite rare.
@YvetteColomb phew, so it's OK. You can raise a toast. :D

user310756
meh I don't drink enough

@Alex who takes the credit for that?

Wonder how many got this? ^

@ShadowWizard well, least its in your country...

@JourneymanGeek yeah, she started working at FB this month, looks like she actually went through SO profiles and collected data.

@ShadowWizard google's done similar in the past

user202362
I used to receive quite a bit messages like that on linkedin, my reply rate is 0 for the past 3 years. Either that or my profile looks unattractive so I haven't receive any lately.

I tend to follow up on those where I can
I would totally reply now. My current job is quite terrible

$100k a year is relative. When you fresh out of uni and only have 20k in your bank account, it looks a lot. When you own a million & with your capital, your knowledge and intelligence, you can make 3 times of that in a year, $100k looks pale in comparison :p

@Telkitty hmm? Where $100k a year?
That's quite a lot here.

user202362
an example

@JourneymanGeek still not better? :(

alas, not really

user315433
.com is so widely used that one can hardly say what the "rules" for it are, but I think the idea was for it to be used for US-based commercial organizations, with other countries using country TLDs, like .co.uk or .com.sg etc

@Alex oh man, I had to comment
That's no election

Q: Showing question state first in its title

shA.tI think it makes more sense if the state of a question shows before its title in search results. [duplicate] Title of Question 1 that is so long to find its end then its state [closed] Title of Question 2 instead of Title of Question 1 that is so long to find its end then its state...

This is actually not such a bad idea.
Little bit pointless, but it could have some uses

user315433
Meh, a lot of noise for people searching for a solution (the majority of readers) who don't care if it's closed or locked or a duplicate or whatnot.

user315433
And possibly bad for SEO, if the words near the beginning of <h1> element have more weight than at the end.

6:19 PM
Ahh

@Alex I got a response to my comment under the philosophy election candidate. Apparently, they'd be a good mod because they'd disagree with the current mods
Indeed, being upset with the current mods is a common reason to run in elections

user315433
Maybe it's true that western philosophy is overrepresented, although someone being or not being a mod is only tangentially related to that.
