Consider the tent I have bought in early November still has not arrived & sim card issue not solved for more than a week (meaning any greetings sent to that sim will not be read and replied to) I am not surprised if swag contest would not be attended to for at least another few days.

Exactly.

Let's all just be patient for a bit longer.

SE staff are on vacation for a bit. Let's give them a chance to take a well-deserved break, have some fun, then come back and take care of the immediate problems that arose while they were gone, and then get around to dealing with the contest.

I'd give them at least a week.
