Kevin ZellerYou know, Dr. Brain, I woke up this morning after a particularly good dream & forgot it... Immediately, Love Only, Always, Uncle Kevin PS Does this EVER happen to thee? It happens to all after our deaths. PPS My point is why punish a man for things all forgotten? Not a dog. NOTE: Even when ...

E.g., if User A is curious about the way User B votes or flags, that's not a reason to post User B's private info in public. If there's something wrong, suspend or warn User B privately.

She-Ra is a fictional character and the protagonist of the Filmation cartoon She-Ra: Princess of Power, debuting in 1985. Also, a series of toys under her name were produced by Mattel. She is the alter ego of Princess Adora and the twin sister of Prince Adam/He-Man. She-Ra was intended to appeal to young girls in the same way that He-Man appealed to young boys. Filmation writer Larry DiTillio created the backstory for the property. She-Ra is introduced in the animated movie The Secret of the Sword as Force Captain Adora, a member of the Evil Horde that rules the planet Etheria. Princess Ado...

A: Newbie "forgiveness"

TelkittyThink of the newblets on this site as feral kittens that occasionally come to your premise. You want to adopt them and let them inside but at first they need to be house trained, because if you don't you would end up with shit all over your place. Not all kittens are okay with that, some run away...

Q: Which per-site-metas are offered in the chat-room creation dialogue?

MartinChat rooms can be associated with meta sites, as discussed, for example, here: Why can meta sites be parents of chatrooms? (In this post you can notice that there were some recent changes concerning where the rooms associated with metas are displayed.) So I wanted to test whether it is possible ...

that ^
:)

user315433
It's also weird that one can have a chat.SE room associated with Meta.SE; the result being that the room isn't present in any site's sidebar.

3:30 PM
@zaq OK. Thanks. /cc @rene

user315433
There are other oddities like an alternative AU room which is automatically created with site host "chat.askubuntu.com" (instead of "askubuntu.com", as for regular AU rooms).

user315433
And that (associating with chat.* site) is something one can't do manually.

A: "I don't know why, but some sites use www2 and others don't".

Yeah, for some flags you need context

Well, then one student in maybe a decade will get that money.

Yes, but perhaps that's how much money is in the fund. Super-specific scholarships are a waste of effort for everyone involved, especially those in charge of awarding them.

Jeremy Banks: @E.P. "Display ad" is the industry term for banner-ey ads around content, used to distinguish from things like search ads (like in Google or App Store results), in-stream ads (like on Facebook or Twitter), native ads (sponsored articles hosted on the same platform as non-sponsored articles), etc. (More or less. The terminology is a bit vague and I'm not precisely clear on it.)

user315433
I wish the "title" font was less humongous.

Random thought: would people want the transcript to be free of Smokey messages? i.e. for the olden days where Smokey would post 50+ a night

user315433
I don't care, really. A bunch of Smokey reports beats 3 hours later…

10:42 PM
I mean like a year ago though. For those transcripts.

What we say isn't that valuable.

user315433
I'd rather not rewrite the history. Some of other messages refer to reports.

True. Which is why you'd kinda have to move those messages too if it wasn't a long conversation...
(or an actual conversation I guess and not just a command)

user315433
And it's unclear what would be achieved...

FSM, the University of California app is really bad. Like there's a bunch of unknown lingo and descriptions elsewhere and no options for dual enrollment classes and such. It's also really long.

user315433
Apply to private universities, less bureaucracy

Bah, but I need to apply to a bunch of universities.
CS is listed under math :'(

user315433
? cs.berkeley.edu is in the College of Engineering.

user315433

This is the nonsensical list I need to choose from.

user315433
10:58 PM
Well it makes sense in many ways, but makes math/cs path slightly more complicated.

user315433
Ah, this is to describe your HS schoolwork. Where else would you put CS, if not with other mathy subjects?

In a textbox instead of a dropdown. o_0
MIT got it right.
Sorted by section, all in one page. Instead of sorted by year and paginated.

11:21 PM
There's no econ in the dropdown o_0
This is amazing.

user315433
Clever. They should also count \bu\b as three characters, etc.

Otherwise you can still save characters with txtspk
