I'm still a little uneasy about the favoriting activity of Normal Bot, which currently favorites a question by 1K user every minute. No problem on the API side (60*24 very simple requests per day), it's just how easy it is to post a lot of stuff algorithmically...

I mean, I could have told it to downvote every question by a 1 rep user... which would probably save me time, and have about the same result as my normal activity.

Because there was a feature request: See questions recently posed by "high-rep" users by Clayton on meta.math.stackexchange.com and I wanted to help.

One can now add "infavorites:274339" to any search string to restrict results to questions by 1K users. Of course, it's not all questions yet: I only started marking them, moving from September 1 forward.

I think it's any flag (perhaps except "other"). I didn't know about the hyphenated version. The whitespace version is listed in my catalog, meta.stackexchange.com/q/238835 (and it's network-wide)

Coincidentally, I was surprised today when "what have you tried so far?" disappeared on Math after one obsolete flag (it was obsolete indeed). My impression was that this criterion is SO-specific.

It comes because the questions that tend to received WHYT comments from others tend to receive downvotes from me. In some cases they already had mine.

Such things on SO makes shooting fish in a barrel seem akin to starving to death from want of catfood.

It got started at U of Rochester, Michael Gage leading the project github.com/mgage And it still works, but a free product developed in spare time by people with full-time teaching loads finds it hard to stay competitive with things like WebAssign, funded by hefty student fees from around the country.

I'm using WebAssign for one of my classes this year, have to say it's pretty nice

Ebook is worthless, btw. The physical book has large page format, to which ebook corresponds; viewing it through their interface, one sees a small chunk of the page at a time. With no easy backtracking or comparison of text here and there, it's not good for studying math, at all.
