@inɒzɘmɒЯ.A.M, not sure if I'm following the above correctly but if you wondered why the cooking "supplements" question had a -1 that was just a regular downvote from me because part 1 either makes no sense or is more likely an implied health question, part 2 is answered on the Wikipedia article.

Is there any meta-post or SE blog for this discussion/topic?

12:41 PM
@Pandya AFAIK social chatting is fine in any chat room, the only rule is that the room should mostly be about the topic of the main site and mainly concentrate on that. But what did you mean just the odd social chat in an existing room or an entire room for it?

@PeterJ in existing room (not entire room for it)

Good luck with that. Lemme know how it works out for ya.

My favorite part of that page is that I learned about StackExchange.realtime.subscribeToCounts method.

2:57 PM
But if anybody knows why an attempt to upgrade from 10.6.8 (Snow Leopard) to Yosemite leads to an endless download....
Search engines haven't helped yet :-(
@NormalHuman If we'd known about that earlier we could have written a realtime countdown system.

anyone using OCSP can check wikipedia page?

@Braiam Something wrong with it? At first glance it looks OK.

@S.L.Barth you are doing a jump from 10.6 to 10.10...

@Braiam I tried to go to 10.7 first, but it seems that it only wants to go straight to 10.10 .
I left it on for the night, in case it was just a HUGE download.

It must be a pain when an upgrade causes the machine to slow down.
