does anyone know why this got downvoted without any comment? stackoverflow.com/a/23844313/2682142
this is a perfectly valid, correct and tested answer as far as I can tell.
I am leaning towards to remove this thought-through and working code again. I am not willing to share it anymore if people are that unfair.

2:14 AM
I think I am going to do an even bigger clean up than before. I will delete all my useful answers that got any unexplained downvotes, and not accepted. I had enough of this.

@FinalContest listen to this first: DJ Jessica B - March Mix

I hate disco stuff.

it's not disco... but... what do you like?
i always find it's nice to have music playing whilst doing a cleanup

Right, so about 50-100 answers will be gone which are either upvoted or due to the low-traffic nature of the tag, was not visited enough to get upvotes to balance the crappy revenge downvotes.
well done job, dear revenge people, you managed to make a person remove a lot of useful information with tested and working code, etc.
why do I even bother answering when I know this is going to happen anyway...

i feel that you are being manipulated by faceless strangers
my advice is to ignore them, rather than to allow them to control your behaviour

2:24 AM
my advice is to avoid working with crappy people.
if they that crappy, the community does not deserve any useful information, not even the one that is already worked out.
SE might think about it twice when many useful posts get removed all of a sudden whether it is worth supporting the actual help desks or the overly crappy people.
the community in the tag is so small that mostly the OP gives an upvote sometime, if any, but it is impossible to achieve other upvotes for detailed and tested code because people do not take much time with reviewing it. In that case, these stupid downvoter people are harmful. I just cannot cope with them anymore, I am afraid. I will remove every single useful post that gets such a downvote, and I stop posting new ones.
I got 15 downvotes in June, all unexplained.

Sigh @ meta robo-voters...

A: Are network protocols on-topic on Stack Overflow?

stretchrI would like to be part of the conversation as I am the original poster of the question. I've been downvoted enough to go below 50 points so can't comment on this site, hence writing in as a reply. To clarify: 1) Too broad. - Yes, I am trying to learn how the service works for my education. 2) ...

7 upvotes for a question submitted as an answer.
that again proves that the voting pattern does not make any sense on meta.

user163250
I remember that post.

user163250
That particular user used an answer because he was downvoted so low that he no longer had the 50 rep necessary to make comments on someone else's post.

user163250
So he couldn't defend himself on the Meta question.

user163250
Personally, I'd just let it go just this once.

I have no idea what it has to do with comments. It is a new a question, but even the reputation level is in place for a reason. I flagged that post.

user163250
3:19 AM
Hmm, yeah, I guess it is a new question. Fair enough. I flagged it earlier as possibly being needed to be moved into the comments instead. I'll let a moderator handle it.

Anyway, I am happy to have seen this thread because now I can understand how useless the voting is on meta: it is full of robo-voters.

user163250
Sympathy upvotes, I'm sure.

no, I have sympathy, too, yet I flagged it.
and downvoted.
it is simply robo-voters who come and no matter what, if there is a hot and upvoted thread in general, they will just follow the pattern without any care to even read anything about what they upvote.
the whole voting pattern is fundamentally b0rked on meta.
late answers have no chance to get not even nearly, but at least a decent amount of votes like their precedessors, which is quite sad considering that it might be a better answer than any of the previous. I do not think meta's goal is ever achieved by meta.

what to do with this user?
and then he writes a comment like this:
@Barmar How do you feel about the title of this post? FWIW, Final Contest has been engaging in heavy duty trolling on my answer here and now has decided to start on your original question. I will roll the title back to your original title, but please be aware of this. — JakeGould 1 min ago

I think it is not the right tone.

@FinalContest hard to tell. The question asks for tool recommendations anyways, so just close and we'll get rid of everything that way.

True, but like I said, I can't really tell in this case.

mferI am handling with that too. Change the public/index.php it's the expected way. I prefer it. But a only hit something doing this: https://github.com/phalcon/album-o-rama/pull/5/files Basically: adding a new rule for common/config/routes.php that handle routes not listed. What do you think?

I am struggling with even understanding what the guy is trying to say.

Wonder if it will get any response, lol

And there we go. Another account on me.
