Today is the first really hot day of this year. I feel like I'm melting.

1:30 AM
That's about how our summer was last year. A little late and REALLY EFFING HOT.

Someone sent me an e-mail asking about CaCert.org. I never thought that would actually happen.
The problem being there are only one of me, and you would need at least 2 to be even remotely useful.

how's that?

@jcolebrand You need at least two people to verify your ID to get any benefit from it.

3:59 AM
Understood, but what does the one have to do with the other? Why are you getting asked about CaCert.org?

4:14 AM
@jcolebrand I am the only experienced assurer within 500km of here. Public listing.

Interesting

Internet Explorer: I hate you. In fact I don't just hate you, I'm willing to risk going back in time to be sure you never exist.

@TimPost Nice.

Noteworthy, I've happily worked with, and successfully trained people with an array of cognitive disorders in the past.
Most recently on Stack Overflow.
IE simply can not be helped.

what does "none" mean as a flag outcome?
(i.e. where it normally says "helpful"/"declined"/"disputed" - it says "none")

Eh? I don't think there is a 'none' option
Is it for older flags from before the new system?

Q: flag response "none"

Foo BahI flagged a question with 4 close-votes. It looks like a fifth person came and closed the question. Under flag weight, there seemed to be no effect but the response was none. What exactly does that mean, and under what circumstances will that show up?

it's that - took me a while to find through search though
but I flagged as "belongs on tex.SE" and voted plain OT

Oh, right. You don't get flag weight if you took action on the post you flagged
To avoid people exploiting it for 'free' weight

do you still stand to lose it if the flag is declined then?

@awoodland Flags sent before the new flagging system was implemented don't have the fields needed for 'helpful' or 'declined'
So they more or less become 'nil'
And yes, there was that loophole that Genesis so creatively exploited.

Q: Flagging a post before submitting the 5th close vote always results in flag being marked helpful

genesisOkay, there's nice workaround to get some free flag weight! What you need 3k minimal, 10k for the easiest way Way to reproduce it Find question with 4 close votes (10k here) Flag that question Vote to close that question Result: All flags on closed questions are automatically marked...
