Phoebe was right. Pink Taffeta is getting a second head in season 8. I'm not just talking about just Equestria Girls, where every character keeps getting new clothes, nor about new characters. A regular character in the main MLP show is getting a visual upgrade in S8, so now you can buy new dolls.

@Derpy You're jumping to conclusions. There are so many other ponies who could change. The Cutie mark crusaders could get a second cutie mark, or grow to their adult form. Apple Bloom could decide not to wear the bow anymore, or Spike or Owiliscous could finally start to wear the bow Rarity made them. Scootaloo could learn to fly, which could come with any number of external signs, such as a pair of airplane wings with jet engines, plus an airplane tail for stability.

Pinkie Pie could decide she prefers the seapony form to the original quadruped. That won't happen to other ponies because they'd have a problem moving the land, but I don't think it would bother Pinkie. Twilight Sparkle could grow a second pair of wings because she's DOUBLE PRINCESS like Pinkie said in S4, or she could start wearing her crown like Rarity suggested. Diamond Tiara could get a bigger tiara.

Princess Luna could finally regenerate from the weakness caused by the banishment on the moon and regain his large body, as large as Princess Celestia. Rarity could decide that the ugly hair from S7 E19 suits her after all.

Cranky could finally grow her own hair instead of a wig, with some magical help from Zecora.

Or Rainbow Dash could finally have enough of the Wonderbolts and join the Shadowbolts. The dark costume would be nice.

@b_jonas or maybe she will finally understand that she could just ask for another Take-Copter like the one Tank uses (probably a gift from Doraemon)...

My favorite possibility is that Rainbow Dash will decide on the ultimate act of self-sacrifice, that she'll give up her own flight so that Scootaloo could be happier, and he starts to take Scootaloo to Tartarus so that Lord Tirek can do the power transfer operation.

She doesn't tell anyone what she's planning, not even Scootaloo, but Sweetie Belle figures it out anyway and asks Twilight for help. Twilight stops Rainbow Dash just in time and points to some slightly less dangerous way to help Scootaloo.

Because the writer son OC just has to be Mary Sue, and she need to hijack more finales. After all, who wanted a song or more Rainbow power in a finale when you can have Starpony

The less dangerous way is to lend the Alicorn Amulet to the Great and Powerful Trixie so that she can cast the wing growth spell on Scootaloo. The Mane Six and friends have become more powerful since S3, so they can keep Trixie in check even if she has the amulet, and Trixie has much better self control herself too, so she can resist the corruption of the Amulet for the short time required.

Anyway, the Mane Six and Sunset get a new set of clothes in the EG episodes, then they show them off in some of the shorts too (the shorts are not very good IMO, they're getting boring), but that's to be expected.

@b_jonas which btw makes me remember that in Dance Magic Pinkie is the only one that has two different sets of clothes during the video. And that comes without saying that probably Rarity never made the rap-dancer one.

@Derpy Pinkie has a pirate captain costume and a monkey costume too in one of the shorts. She has lots of clothes.

Oh, also, Big Mac could finally become an alicorn, or Granny Smith could reveal her true secret alicorn form when she has to solve some crisis and the other princesses aren't available.

Turning Starlight to an alicorn would be a waste though. She can already fly on her own. And if she did become an alicorn, I think she wouldn't want it. She'd just magically poof away her wings the next day, and if anyone other than her closest friends saw her transformation, she'd remove it from her memory. She doesn't enjoy the publicity that comes with being an alicorn. She's satisfied to be powerful but not in the public view.

I know Twilight also doesn't always enjoy being a Princess, but she often does, and the rest of the time she just considers it an unfortunate responsibility and her destiny.

@b_jonas You forgot that the CMC could learn Dragonball fusion dance to turn into Scootapple or Swetieloo

Or maybe Fluttershy will finally be revealed to be pony version of Glitter Yellow, since they have the same personality.

It's also much easier to convince children to go to the school and to not leave if things go wrong.
