Hi, is there anyone here?
Sam
Sam
Hiya
Hi sam,
I have some question relating to my questions, and some asistant
Sam
Sam
I see, well this isn't the right room for discussing that.
I have banned from asking questions, for several weeks
where should I do that?
Sam
Sam
Have you tried the Tavern?
13:24
the last time you said me that posting answers would help, my reputation was below 200 and now above 500 but I think it totally deoesn't help,
Sam
Sam
Posting answers does help.
Rep isn't an indicator. The amount of answers and amout of upvotes for them count.
Have you been deleting posts, @Ahmad? The system hates users which attempts to hide and bury bad posts of theirs, which effectively wastes everyone's time reading.
I had upvotes for most the answer I had, and some accepted one
Sam
Sam
You must have a lot of down-voted/deleted posts in that case.
13:25
Then probably you don't have enough answers. Keep answering, after some time the ban will be lifted. And avoid deleting posts.
@Unihedro No, I don't I try to modify them. but again some of them were closed, I modfied them in hope to be opened but no answer I got yet. could I link some of them here for reconsideration?
@Sam, just 2 or 3 deleted one, when I couldn't enhance them, in all of my questions which are 26 question
Sam
Sam
Hmm.
@Ahmad On which site are you banned?
StackOverFlow
for example I modified this stackoverflow.com/questions/22457636/…, now I think its a good question
> I am trying to import some data from a database to another database.
Now all you need is how you're doing it: Code, steps to reproduce, etc.
Does the second question even have anything to do with programming? O-o
Sounds more like superuser.com for the task
Sam
Sam
You have quite a few <0 score questions
@Unihedro the original question had more code and description, but they just confused the reader and I think it was why they closed my question then I decide to say the main part of the problem
@Unihedro And also this one stackoverflow.com/questions/24981418/…, You are right for example this one maybe could migrated to security on webmasters site
If those three are the best questions of yours, I would be sorry to say that you may have to read a few threads on Meta relevant to how good posts are written.
@Ahmad No, it shouldn't be migrated. Important rule for migration: only migrate high-quality questions. Your question would also be closed on Webmasters.
13:33
@Unihedro no they are some which are closed, I had good questions too
my most question because are in specific fields are less common but still good questions stackoverflow.com/questions/26653838/…
@Unihedro sorry I meant another link that is the link to my most downvoted question stackoverflow.com/questions/26653838/…, just because I exposed in meta, several times I edited it but some people just like to vote it down. the solution is not obvious and it also a question other may need

@Unihedro I have some better questions on my new accounts, programmers.stackexchange.com/questions/264985/… on programmer, since I learned a bit, but how much I should wait because my old questions here, really they are good question compared many trival questions we see on the site everyday, anyway howmuch I edit them no body reconsider them!
Programmers.SE is not SO. SO quality guidelines are stricter and users are grumpier. That's why Meta participation is not to be taken lightly.

regarding my current status of my questions, what should I do to leave the ban?
@Ahmad Either answering, or improving your questions.
There's no other option.

@ProgramFOX I did both if you check my account, but nothing happened
@Ahmad Those things do help. You probably need more answers.
And only the team knows the exact formula, so I don't know how many answers you still have to post.
13:43
@ProgramFOX OK if they really help I try more! but I thought may answering is irrelevant to the ban to questions
@Ahmad It's mentioned in a Meta post that it does help.
@Ahmad Well, I've seen five users come into my home room ranting about the question ban, I helped four of them out of it by telling them to post high quality answers worthy of other users upvoting.
I am somehow victim of my posts on meta, otherwise my questions are not that bad
The other didn't come back, so they either rage-quitted or it did help them as well.
@ProgramFOX I didn't see that mention, really, there is no sign about it!
13:46
I remember that I saw it on the Meta post. Going to search for it.

ArjanWhy am I getting this message? As stated in the about links on every page, Stack Exchange is a network of question and answer sites, not help forums. > The only way for the ban to be lifted is by contributing positively to the site in other ways.
> If you are banned from asking questions, then writing a few quality answers that get upvoted might enable you to ask questions again. But as the internals of the filter are secret, there is no way to know for sure.
