I'm sure you guys are aware but I have to tell you about it. The Chrome Developer Tools are just awesome!

It wasn't the image loading that killed my browser when viewing the chat room access tab but AdBlock Plus. Turned it off for that page and everything works. No browser crashing. :D

I have written a userscript for the access list though. Just in case you guys want to have a look.
