@AltaGrade I'm trying not to be a jerk, but it's just a badge. It doesn't take much work to re-earn it either. I'm having a hard time being sympathetic since it doesn't look like you've even tried to earn it. How important can it really be?
I get there's a sense of justice here. You had a badge, it was taken away unjustly and you want it back to restore cosmic balance (or just so you won't feel taken advantage of). But there's another principle at work here too. As a matter of policy, we don't manually award badges. If I break that rule in this case, why shouldn't I break it next time someone asks?
