@VidyaL ChatGPT can generate answers for Stack Overflow, people were using it to post such answers with zero effort. The site moderators decided to forbid it, so they deleted any answer the was found to be generated by AI and not by human, and suspend those doing it. Stack Exchange decided to stop this at some point, meaning allowing ChatGPT answer and saying to press the moderators are bad. So, the moderators are very angry, and rightfully so.
The excuse of SE is that the tools used by mods to detect AI answers are not accurate, so there are cases of legit users being suspended.
And that's about it, for the core of the issue.
