@AnnofProgrammingGables well what happens is that when it tries to post exact same message again, after short while from previous, the chat itself won't let it and cause an error when sending; FOX thinks something went wrong so it tries different method, of direct pinging instead of replying.
hmm tried it now and no error, but message also won't post, as expected. Anyway, that's the reason for the weird behavior.
@ShadowWizardHatesOmicron Ah. I'm not watching any news, though I'm listening to things. I must admit things seem to be slowing down on the war/missile news, as they're now doing quite the bit on gas prices XD
@ShadowWizardHatesOmicron I dunno. They're part of NATO, aren't they? They already started article 4 apparently, and article 5 would be next then. They say at that point, every country that's a member of NATO is sworn to do something... or something like it these things are complicated.
I don't think they're capable of occupying all of Russia (countless others have tried and failed :P). But whacking them back out of Ukraine? I think they might have a chance.
Honestly I don't know. There was this one doomsayer saying Putin might bomb Volkel (a Dutch air force base rumored to house nukes or other big missiles).
I know the tool, I use it a lot. But really, I expect I can copy/paste images or links to images from something like Wikipedia and just have them work ;-)
Yeah I get it. I should blame the wikipedia editors for not including a proper image but doing some weird stuff like that. What's the point of doing it this way anyways? It's not like an air force base changes locations every few hours so it's easier to have some script than a static image :P
@Tinkeringbell umm 30 cents for yoghurt is insanely cheap compared to here. We have yoghurt for $1, that's the cheapest and tastes like, well, not yoghurt. lol
The companies claims the prices are higher due to having to make it Kosher and bring it across oceans, but it's clear such things can't possibly double the price. They just being greedy, because they can.
It's not limited to things that come from outside the country, local foods also cost way too much.
Yeah, you mentioned that before. To be honest, that sounds like any kind of company. Over here, the excuse is that cost of production has increased. But at the same time all those companies are making record profits (not just revenue, profits!) that are about the same percentages higher as their price increases XD
I think it's also something they warn you about when you go to South America, India, Africa... basically anything not Europe or the North American continent. Dunno about Australia though :P
